January 24, 200917 yr (this may in the wrong forum, I apologize if this is the case) Okay. I see people complain about many Slayer monsters, but for some reason, never ONCE have I seen anybody say anything bad about Bloodvelds. Why? What's so good about them? They are assigned in fairly high quantities (140+), they have no "special slayer-monster only" drops besides Black Boots (which aren't very special at all), they have triple the Hp of a regular monster (which makes them take triple the time to kill), they have low Strength but very high Accuracy, and they drop low amounts of coins 90% of the time! So my question is this: how do other people NOT find Bloodvelds boring to the core, like I do? Is it all a matter of perception? Am I wrong, and people really DO hate Bloodvelds but just never actually complain about them? Or does everybody else know something I don't about Bloodvelds? SLAYERGEEK
January 24, 200917 yr Right forum but, people usually do mutated bloodvields and its good range xp for them. Pureprayer, you're awesome.
January 24, 200917 yr Author Right forum but, people usually do mutated bloodvields and its good range xp for them. I've tried this as well, and it still takes forever (even if they can't damage you), and the drops are only slightly better. SLAYERGEEK

Also good slayer xp and the green charms are nice Pureprayer, you're awesome.
January 24, 200917 yr Normal bloodvelds: Low defence and high hp is a good thing. They hardly hit you at all in good mage defence. Mutated: With a cannon they are one of the fastest tasks in the game. Around 50k slayer exp/hour. The time it takes to finish a task doesn't mean anything. In fact, more time spent on tasks = more time getting experience.

January 24, 200917 yr The amount of slayer exp you get per monster is directly related to the monsters hp(with a few exceptions) so the higher the Monster's hp, the more slayer exp you get. Which is great because Slayer is so slow to level. As for accuracy, they use mage based melee attacks, wear Dragonhide and they won't hit at all. They also have terrible low defense, which means you'll hit a lot no matter what. Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie.

January 24, 200917 yr Remember this too, more HP is definitely a good thing if you're on a task with good xp/drops. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
