well i want to get 80 smithing, i was planning on smithing mith bolts with sc hammers till 73, then addy bolts till 80. Is this the best way, if not can you give me and idea on what i should do to get 80 smithing?

It probably isn't the fastest, I'd reccomend Cannonballs, At the moment you make profit from them :thumbsup:

Cannonballs are the biggest waste of time in the game. The money is low and the XP rate is dreadful.

 

 

 

You can try making mith bolts at the blast furnace - you break even or even make a bit of money, but it's still pretty slow. Making mith plates down there and alching would be significantly faster, though you'd lose more money. But unless you are willing to piss money away buying bars to make plates, or using gold ore, the blast furnace is your best bet.

 

 

 

Superheating is also a nice alternative - the smithing XP isn't all that great, but the mage XP is good.

Addy bolts to 80

 

 

 

That's one of the most cost-effective ways of doing this, especially coupled with a SC hammer. If Superheat works with gauntlets, consider superheating as well.

Outside of the blast furnace, you're still going to lose a lot of money with bolts.

mith plates is fast and you can use them as junk

hmmm i always recommend gold smithing for sure. and after smelting u can use sc hammers n get another 30 exp per bar.... so a total of about 86.25 exp per gold bar if im not mistaken. :thumbsup:
