February 5, 200917 yr I got my slayer task of fire giants again!last time i had the task i noticed that in 160 kills i got only one rune scimitar. They drop a range of rune weaponary but i suppose my question is... how often am i just unlucky? February 5, 200917 yr Just from personal experience, I would say expect at least 1 per task, with an average of 2-3 per task. Sometimes you can be lucky and get 4 (that's the most I've gotten in a task). February 5, 200917 yr I have the feeling that the more you kill the higher the drop rate for rarer items is. In my first Fire Giant task: no rune. 2nd ~ 4th task: 1 rune afterwards, various rune (mostly rune arrows though) Level 99's[hide]Mining level 99 achieved November 2010Smithing level 99 achieved February 2011Fishing level 99 achieved April 2011Cooking level 99 achieved May 2011[/hide]Goals[hide][/hide]Drops:Miscellanious: 1x Draconic Visage , 5x Focus Sight, 3x Abbysal Whip Offering Effigy Assistance in Herblore, Crafting.
