RayOxide
Gah it's so annoying trying to work out which one I want.. =/ Basically, I have 850k xp in smithing, almost double in crafting, (1650k), and over double in magic. These are the 3 I want most, especially crafting. So I'm trying to work out the best ways, not just one, or 2, or 3, but around 5. I cant stick to one way forever, it just doesnt agree with me. Anyway, basically, I know the top ways for all, for me anyway.. Green dhide bodies, and air bstaves for crafting, Diamond bolts, alching and (87) onyx enchantment for mage Mithril bolts, addy bolts, addy arrowheads for smithing. So, anyone else got any kinds of ways? Teach me your secrets if you have any :P Note: Yeah I know those ways are most likely the best, or most efficient ways, but I still gotta look for others to keep me busy. 2Note: Would aviansies be a smart way to get addy bars, when I get 75 smithing, for say, 90, then go by rune scimitars? I dont need a siggy no moar.
Kepihan
Blast furnace is a nice way to level smithing if you fancy a change :D I solo it, but there is a Blast Furnace world you can use. Lets_3ekout
For crafting, I've often seen people crafting tiaras to train, if you have need for junk it may be worth looking into. Also, I've heard about people crafting bracelets with and without gems, then selling to the jewelery thief guy in Varrock (available only after summer's end). SC can cut crafting costs by significant amounts. For mage, you could do MTA for some money with your exp. Other than that you might be able to mage DK's (extra xp per spell and drops make it worth considering if you have the stats) or even metal dragons. I'm not very good with smithing :( What I do know is that if you use SC you will save yourself huge money. As for aviansies, it depends. Work out how much gp/hr you make there and if you can make more gp/hr doing something else then don't do aviansies. Just use your fastest gp/hr method and buy addy bars. Since Aviansies are fast gp/hr there is a good chance your idea is a good one. I'm not sure about rune scimmys and their market. The_dmt1234
how much are you willing to spend per exp on smithing? are you more so after cheap/fast/both and if you already said it and i missed it. use sc hammers it cuts the cost of exp in half ]
SirHartlar
Buy gold unstrung amulets and use the String Jewellery spell. 100k exp/hour, about 4gp per experience point. You sell the gold amulets back to the prisoner you save from Rogues Castle with Jennicas ring after 'Summers End', it is semi-afkable and pretty relaxing. You sell the gold amulets back to the prisoner you save from Rogues Castle with Jennicas ring after 'Summers End', it is semi-afkable and pretty relaxing. I have been thinking about this, but it's a bother trying to get people to take the amulets off my hands. I am wayyy too lazy to even do the first summer quest. I was thinking plank make, when I get the level. Blast furnace is a nice way to level smithing if you fancy a change :D I solo it, but there is a Blast Furnace world you can use. Magic > Humidify + Superglass Make + Enchant Air Orb Crafting > Use air orbs for Air Battlestaves. Urgh, blast furnace :XD: I love it, but only for a while. I stayed there for a few days and got some nice levels, only 3 though. It was moderately fun and far easier than normal smithing, and to think you make money. I havent done dream mentor yet :-$ I will soon enough though. Btw, it's NPC Call Bert, catherby teleport and buy seaweed, superglass make -> orbs, enchant the orbs, stick onto staves, alch :P. Any other ideas that work, but are so different people dont do them? O.o Might give me a chance to investigationate. I dont need a siggy no moar.
SirHartlar
I would recommend doing the two quests, it really is a great method. ;)
