Well d claws have finally reached into my "affordable" range at 27.8m. If I sell my DFS and BGS, I will be able to buy them and have roughly 8m to spare. (I have 3m cash in bank right now.) What should I do?

Dont worths to sell both itens for claws, since you dont PvP much...

 

 

 

Thats my opinion, but if you really want to get it borrow first to see if you wanna trade 2 good itens for it...

Maybe get someone to lend them to you and try it out before selling off your items, you'll be able to judge better on whether you want them or not.

If you do a lot of Castle Wars and minigames, you'd probably have a lot of fun with the claws. Otherwise, a DFS and BGS are much more useful. If anything, save up a bit and sell one or the other, but not both.

 

 

 

EDIT: Compfreak claims that a Rune Defender and Whip are better than a GS for boss hunting, so you could sell the BGS and save up, then use whip + def + claws to boss hunt, which should be useful. Don't take my word for it, though. I'm not entirely convinced yet that he's right, but it would be worth trying.

They arent very useful in cw at all, theres much more useful specials out there in your price range, they would be good for boss hunting IF you only used the spec then went back to BGS for the killing (bandos and zam gwd, un-usable for arma, maybe useful for sara but is it worth selling all that for one GWD boss?)

I'm confused how you come to the conclusion about ags, d claws are very useless, but ags still has the power to hit 50+ very commonly, and its slow speed comes at an advantage when killing a boss which you need to eat alot at over quicker weapons because you can eat/pot between hits and still hit the same, whereas you lose the att turn with other weps. AGS (and all other GS's) are also very good when you get few hits against an enemy, and need the big few hits.

Godswords are useless for any type of fighting. Whip is better for any sort of team GWD; you don't have to eat much, and it can dish out more damage per minute.

well ya...you are never going to get a definate yes or no...you have to look at other peoples opinion at the question and decided for your self...personally i would borrow a set of claws from someone and try them out first then decide
