d claws vs. godswords

Godswords in general arent that useful in terms of stats, people say its decent for boss hunting, but otherwise :thumbdown:

Overall, they probably aren't the greatest, but he could of said it in a manner that doesn't make me think of him as a Neanderthal. Anyways, the high hits are fun; I can hit fairly high with my bgs, and I don't need to have low hp with prayer to use it. The accuracy bonus on it can come in handy on things with high def; namely boss monsters, but it helps at barrows some days. (Other days I just use my flail or salamander if my flail doesn't work either.)

 

 

 

Also, d claws are, to my knowledge 100% useless without the special; I cannot think of anything where using the claws w/o the spec would be useful. With Godswords, you at least have Godwars, as well as other creatures with high def, such as Black Demons (at least according to others in the thread)

Very easy answer, Godswords. They hit higher and are generally more accurate.

 

 

 

A better question would have been what is better in terms of special attack.

 

 

 

In terms of special attacks out of all weapons Dragon claws are probably the most commonly used for just their special attack. With Godswords you can use their special, but that isn't the primary reason for using them. With claws you use them for their special and thats about it. Claws have a better special then Bandos godswords, and probably Zamorak godswords to.

 

Saradomin and Armadyl godswords still have overall better specials in my opinion.
