I recently moved my entire iTunes library to a different folder for orginization purposes, and deleted the old folder. The trouble I have now, is that there are now 2 of every song on my iTunes library, even though they're only being stored in one folder. Does anyone know how I get get rid of all the duplicates without clicking "clear" 1262 times?

Sorry for the amazingly slow 2 day response lol, but if it still kinda helps, I also had my songs duplicated, and took a bit to remove it.

 

 

 

However, you could just delete the itunes file inside your folder, which resets ur library. Then highlight all files in side your music folder, and there you go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If that doesnt work, try holding control down while clicking on 1 of each song. Yeah, its annoying, but at least you'll be able to highlight every other song, and do only 1 clear at the end.

In one of the top option. File Edit Controls etc, I cant remember which one exactly, but theres an option to show all duplicated songs so you can delete them.

Yeah, I was thinking that, but he said all his songs are duped anyways. So clicking that will just show the entire library, with 2 copies of each song = no help at all :wink:

Meh. But it does eleminate all non dupes from the list so it would be easier to delete the rubbish ones.

CLick on the song on the top of the list then scroll down to the bottom one. Hold shift then click the bottom song then clear then just re-add them to the library =\

Thanks for the help guys. I just cleared out my entire library and reimported them from one folder, so it just reset everything, but now the problem's solved.
