Many of you have seen the first and second picture but I changed it some and am trying to work on a background for it...

No its not shaded yet, just showing you all what I am doing to the picture, its just practice for me still, as I am still really new to pixel things, I haven't worked on it since I last posted until now because I have been busy...

Call me Kat, or Kathy Corkat

If I were you, Id go back to the first pic and re-work your way from there, maybe adding a sinister smile would help, less cuts (at least more realistic) and happier eyes maybe? cuz right now she looks like a lvl 9 waiting to be pwned in the wild :?

Her face looks like she's tired of whiping, maybe make her right hand be carrying a bag full of money won from the Arena over her shoulder to show she's earned living through harsh fighting. Then, flip the BG so she is entering the door as if she just got home and wants to just rest. "Gome sweet home" on the sign maybe.

BG needs a lot of texture, such as in the grass where each grass can't really be seen. The character needs shading, but great that all the lines are cleaned up. All it needs is some kind of sky over the fence, again maybe a sunset since it's the end of a long day at the Arena.

I think you could make her more happy and remove some grass.

even more (I will work on the grass after I get her finished :-)

Nice progress, shading going good. The three grasses on the upper left corner of the yard are odd colored though. Her eyes are missing eyebrows and eye lashes, so good idea to add them. :)

as mrxman said she needs eyebrowns, I think you could change the fence color to a darker one.
