I would just like some simple pros/cons please

Searched through the forums, but havn't really found anything clear-cut.

So is graahk-craftin simply superior in every way? Or do you make less money but more experience?

Or what?

Just a simple explanation would be greatly appreciated

I found graahk crafting much less annoying but thats because I really hated the abyss. I also found it a bit faster but that also depends on how you are with abyss crafting.

Conclusion: i found graahk's better

If you don't get caught up in the abyss (i.e. fail mining the rock 5 times in a row), then to me they seem to be the same speed. I haven't personally tried the Graahk method since my summoning level isn't high enough, but I'm usually at the altar while Graahk-crafters are. So it usually takes us the same amount of time to get there. But again, if you tend to fail a lot while making your way through the abyss, Graahk is probably more efficient and reliable.

There are less variables with Graahk. I think the rate is 1 minute 15 on average in recordings I did way back, thats including the re-potting of super energy and dueling rings.

Abyss, you have to factor in where you spawned, which can add to the region of 30 seconds alone. But even a smooth run doesn't really match up.

@tripsis, how can you judge the speed when you haven't tried one of the methods. :?:

While i'm not sure of maximum rates for abyss rcing i know it is possible to convert around 3.3k ess to nats using the graahk method, which i seriously doubt any abyss crafter could manage. On top of this the graahk method is much safer. On the other hand graahk pouches do cost a bit although i reckon the expense is justified.

Abyss: Is generally viewed as faster than the alternative, however this rarely accounts for the hold ups of obstacles, revs and general abyss creatures. The major pro ehre is it is 100% free

Graahk: is DEFINITELY faster than the abyss, but only marginally. And it requires a lot more work or cost due to the pouches required

Nature Tabs: By far the fastest method and increasingly popualr amoung many rcers. The alatar tabs aquired via the Great Orb project minigame teleport you directly outside an altar meaning they are far superior in speed for crafting all runes (chaos excluded due to the maze) than the abyss and all other methods. Some dislike them due to the need to play the game. However during the game you receive pure ess which you can craft and receive double xp for while in-game. This means on balance playing the game is only marginally slower xp than the abyss (if u win all the rounds) but at the same tim earns you the teletabs which can significantly increase your trianing speed.
