  1. I agree, if someone has not played in six months and has not completed tutorial island then I doubt they're going to miss that account. :wall:
  2. Great list, I support almost all of these. Although I would love the drop X function it would make power fishing/teaks insanely quick.
  3. I'm sure some high level players could be considered geeks or nerds, whatever you want to call them. But there are plenty who are able to keep their hobby in check. Zezima is a good example, while being number one for years, he managed to get into college and he has a gf irl,(or are they married now). Anyway that's proof enough for me that it's possible to have a balanced life and at the same time have good skills in game.
  4. I think people usually "look down upon" 99s they perceive as quick and or relatively cheap. If someone wants to waste 5m getting cooking to 99 JUST for the cape then that's their choice and I'm not going to harass them for it. After recently getting fm to just 80 I've gotta say it would actually be a pretty hard 99. (clicking mainly)
  5. I think there was a discussion about which kind of cape:quest or skill was better. From what I gathered it was not really seen as a lesser cape, many people acknowledging it takes more time to get than many 99s.
  6. I don't have a problem with people saying [wagon] unless they use it to directly offend or harass someone. And damn? That's not particularly offensive in my opinion, even if you say "damn you" it's just like saying get stuffed. Not really the end of the world. I don't think they meant to do it, but they have unblocked a certain word starting with "f" and ending with "less". You can also say "[wagon]" but not "arse" OK, maybe some people under 13 tend to be annoying but I think they would have enough brains to say they were over 13.
  7. Yep, I agree, if you're tempted and have the cash to burn, best do it now. In any case, you can get back money but you can't lose xp.
  8. Really up to you, void is fun to use and will probably save you some cash when chinning to 99, you might also want to use it later , in my opinion: get it.
  9. I reckon it would be good if you invested a bit in farming, crafting, construction and smithing get them into the 80s ;) If there's any left maybe prayer or save it? Up to you though.
  10. Really nice guide, it covers a variety of effective methods. I found it quite helpfull on my first waterfiend tasks, thanks for posting this.
  11. great guide, I don't think the DIY is for me but nonetheless it's all very thought out and provides great information for anyone who is lookig to level herblore by themselves. good job.
  12. I reckon they should,it's more of an achievment to get a 99 in F2P anyway.
  13. Whips themselves are not a big threat in PVP, they are a standard weapon these days, In any practical sense they have no spec and hit modest amounts of damage when compared with a GS. There's no point introducing more weapons similar to the whip with the exeption of a one handed stab-based one. But this still wouldn't make the whip any less powerful! What we DO need is more powerful training weapons and armour for people with 90+ stats. IN my opinion these should be derived from 95+ slayer monsters to keep the skill alive.
  14. I support this, if it were to happen the cape should be without the irritating spawn of steel arrows, or have an option which allows you to turn it on/off. 99 rangers deserve this.
  15. Not sure, I think I have 2 or perhaps 3 years of quality playing before school will have to take more of a priority. From there it depends on whether I go to university or not, etc.etc. So hopefully 2100-2200 total,99 slayer, 99 summ and others ;)
