Quite frankly, I don't see why skate. 2 is even considered a new game. From what I have played, very few things have been added. Hippie jumps, getting off your board. That's about all I can think of that is an improvement. The game is still good though, just a very small improvement on skate.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

Meh, I never really liked skate.

Not really into skating games anymore.

WONGTONG IS THE BEST AND IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN ME

#1 Wongtong stalker.

Im looking for some No Limit soldiers!

I've played through the first skate, quite frankly liked the game; much better then the Tony Hawk series (at least in my experience). I was considering getting skate2, but just it has been mentioned a few posts up, there doesn't seem to be any real significant chances within the series. More or less a few perks that can add a new element to the gameplay, but is it worth $60 is the question.. :?

Nah, not yet. Once it comes down in price. Maybe. But not now.

It's funny because all the review outlets I have checked out have said it's much worth the $60. Getting off your board, moving objects around and new tricks. Not to mention the entire local is new. I don't really see how that doesn't warrent $60, unless you expected something crazy (what really could you see them add to make it worth the money as an "upgrade"?).

I'd buy the game if I wasn't going to buy SF4 when it comes out this tuesday. Maybe later on I will.

I tried the demo, not a fan. I know many will disagree, but I prefer Tony Hawk (or at least THPS2-3) to it. This is way too realistic for me.

soooo much has been added, a whole new skating area (NEW San Vanelona) getting of your board, moving stuff to make your own spot, an almost double in bag of tricks.. alot more also.

Definatly worth the $60

Here's the thing though, when I played it, and I think I got in a good 3 hours, I've always ended up in places that are from the skate. Since I don't own skate., then yeah, I would agree that it is worth the $60. I must admit that I think I do still prefer the first over the second.
