Higibob
There's always alching, you can only lose a few gp on a few things, but that tends to be excruciatingly boring :ohnoes:
Jadinko
i dont mind clicking :P i was looking for more exotic ways Miseryism | Completionist
Zaaps1
1) String Ammy 2) Enchant Diamond bolts 3) Onyx enchant @ MTA 4) Fire wave @ Vets Pc (spend points on mage) 5) Superglass make (profits) 6) Superplank make (breaks even, usually) 7) Superheat -mith- (breaks even or minimal loss) 8) Superheat -iron- All of those are more xp/hour than alching and most are cheaper. High alchemy is overrated. Even in f2p, superheating iron is better xp and superheating mith is more efficient gp-wise. ~It's Super Effective! danetello
You could make air orbs :D. You make profit if you buy the supplies and then sell the orbs, I think it's about 300 gp per orb. You could also make the orbs or turn them into air battlestaffs and then alch. It won't make as much, but you will get more exp :).
Jadinko
so whats the process of superheating then? anyone? Miseryism | Completionist
Zaaps1
so whats the process of superheating then? anyone? You cast the spell on an ore in your invent and you make a bar. Pretty straightforward. ~It's Super Effective! Georgelemmons
so whats the process of superheating then? anyone? Buy mith ore and nats, and put coal on 100% in MTK (much cheaper than buying). Superheat the ores into bars, and sell the bars. You can break even with a bit of merching. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <

Dark_Demesne
When I used String Ammy intensively (end of 2008), I averaged 134k xp per hour, at a loss of around 3.5-4 gp per xp (with selling the resulting ammies to the Rogue trader guy; ~6 gp/xp otherwise). I can't help on Plank Make, but I do recommend String Ammy! :)

pureprayer
High alc can be as low as 0.3-0.5 gp/xp Pureprayer, you're awesome.
Dark_Demesne
Thats very good xp, what you used to string? I used plain gold ammies, as these were the cheapest to buy in bulk on the GE. Luckily, the mage xp doesn't depend on the type of ammy used.

Dark_Demesne
But its not boring to all the time have to bank & cast once? It's actually much less boring, because the spell casts itself automatically until you run of of unstrung ammies in your inventory. You just equip a mud staff, have a stack of astrals in the bank, and fill up with 27 unstrung ammies. Click the spell once, and it'll cast itself 27 times automatically. So you end up clicking a lot less compared to alching or planking.
