ok so im going to be killing green dragons for the bones to work on prayer and i know i can make around 3.1m on the hides alone..so i was wondering around how long would it take me to kill them all with my setup and stats?

i already have barrows and i really perfer it over rune because i dont hardly ever get hit with it..plus im only going to sell the hides, ill be using the bones on a gilded alter to get 70 pray

the dudes got 80 defence, rune will easily suffice

surely with your stats fighting or safespotting blues in the ogre enclave is better money? and nearer a bank too?

 

or what about black dragons in the members dungeon? or safespotting them?

As do I and when I train on green dragons with barrows, and they still hit me for a number sometimes.

it takes longer to kill blue drags and they arent closer to a bank than the green ones they are just as far

Greens are better even with maxed stats.

Hell no. The degrading will shave several thousand gps off your profit/hour that you didn't have to give up. Green dragons barely hit anything; a mid-level player wearing rune could do a load with 10 tunas.

 

 

 

The defence is very useful, certainly. But in some cases you simply don't need it.

Assuming you are to use the chaos tunnels, rune is worthless to the 3-4 baby black dragons attacking you if you get into a bad spot.

Assuming level 1 smithing (no house discount) body/legs costs 11k/hr. Green drags are ~400k hr so the amount you lose is insignificant. Also, the defence in chaos tunnel IS NEEDED. With 99 defence I take a fair amount of damage by the end of a trip.

 

 

 

I have to agree, barrows does win over rune in each situation. The cost is simply too small to consider.

 

 

 

To the topic creator, your setup looks good. Only thing worth replacing for is whip, beserker ring and fury ammy. They last two aren't so important. I guess you have your stats in your sig, I have sigs disabled because of bandwidth issues so I don't know if you have 70 attack or not.
