Slayer Task - Red Dragons

Hey all. My new slayer task is 48 red dragons. What is the best way to go about these? My stats are in siggy. I'd rather not have to buy much new equipment.. Is it better to go with metal armour or another armour?

I think you are better off praying against those. Use initiate or proselyte legs and body, black mask, anti dragon shield of course. Use your best weapon, I think they are weak to stab attack, not sure, though. Use a super attack and super strength potion, anti dragonfire optional, then youll get no damage from dragons. The dogs are annoying, though. You can find them in Brimhaven dungeon or in the wilderness. I recommend Brimhaven, especially when you have karamja gloves because the entrance is free.

um what do you have to do to wear the initiate and prostelyte armour?/ is there another option for body n legS?

I had this task a while ago, I just killed the babies, a lot easier, but less experience. If you want to kill the big drags, protect melee with initiate/prosleyte legs (initiate is after Wanted! and prosleyte is after the Slug quests).

Wrong. Initiate is after Recruitment Drive. Proselyte is after Slug Menace.

Initiate= Monk robes, so if you don't wanna quest you can just use the robes. But it's suggested to get prosy as it's the best thing to wear on tasks where you use alot of prayer.
