DKS - Why is it profitable?

Why is fighting DKS (Dagganoths on waterbirth island) so profitable,and how much profitable it is actually ,what are the good drops,and how much people aproximatley earn per hour doing in?

 

 

 

Im asking this becaus im doing barrows for profit atm,and ive been told DKS is currently uncomparable better,I wonder how much better it really is

Edit:I know it is popular,but is it worth the effort of making the team and taking risk since highest prices of named items those monsters drop dont make more profit than few milion coins,which is less profit than barrows to me if coin share is on

Hmm, but you can easily get at least 1 or 2 of those drops a trip, more if you're experienced and have good levels. It's just more of a steady money maker, instead of relying on the occasional expensive drop at gwd or something.

I've dk'd quite a few times and my experience has been at least 1-2 drops each time. This could range from a dragon axe to a berserker ring. All 3 dag kings drop axes and the rings of their respective combat style. Luckily the easiest dag king to kill has the most expensive drop, which is the berserker ring.

 

 

 

Berserkers are about 2m and dragon axes are about 1.8m so you're looking at a good chance of making 3m+ a trip. I would suggest learning how to first with a partner and lootshare and once you get the hang of that you can solo rex as well as give the other dag kings a try for fun/ profit.

 

 

 

Also don't put barrows down... Barrows is extremely quick if you know what you're doing and some of the drops you get can make up for lost time at dag kings. I myself have made 70m+ from guthan's spears alone at barrows.

my first run was a berserker ring... then i went on for 3 dry streaks which ruined my morale. Then i got two zerkers in a trip. It's all about luck. For the most part, DKs are profitable because even a low-priced drop like a seers ring can cover most costs and the dagannoth bones you pick up can cover costs also. It's also fun.
