March 12, 200917 yr I got 30M which i loved to spend on Smith. I also WILL be using SC hammers. So what's the best way for me to do it, not slow and not the fastest method. Here's what i want (Slowest to Fastest): Very slow>Slow>Normal>Fast>Very fast
March 12, 200917 yr Blast furnace with addy and mith would be around that fast level. Want to be my friend? Look under my name to the left<<< and click the 'Add as friend' button!Big thanks to Stevepole for the signature!^

March 12, 200917 yr Well I just went from 74-99 smithing. I used adamant the whole way. I did: [*:1e12l7js]Adamant Bolts from 74-88 [*:1e12l7js]Adamant Platebodies from 88-99 Doing that with SC hammers cost me around 43m gp I think, so that is a bit over your limit. However, you are already 6 levels higher than I was so for you it would probably be closer to 40 or 38m? Not really sure. To save some money you could probably start off with some mithril and then move to adamant later. But doing adamant platebodies/bolts is the fastest and most cost efficient method. The only thing that might be faster is superheating gold, but that's way more expensive. Probably 80m or 90m at least. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

But that doesn't mean you should follow it to the letter. Once you hit certain levels, there are much better things to make: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calcula ... thing3bar5 -Rune 2h is only ~2gp/xp. For smithing, that's incredible, and that's w/o SC hammer. Rune kites are also good at around 6gp/xp. Addy bolts are about 5gp/xp and addy plates are around 7gp/xp. See how they compare? Heed a warning though, the prices for those fluctuate a lot, so proceed with caution. ~It's Super Effective! I mean I haven't tested it out, but he huge price of rune bars will force you to make A TON of trips back and forth from the anvil to the GE. Plus I don't think that huge amounts of rune 2h's would sell very quickly. And you'll actually want to cut those numbers in half, I believe, since he's using SC hammers. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

Rune bars would be troublesome to buy, but thanks...that really is nice. That's understandable. Personally, I probably wouldn't do rune kites either. I can't be bothered to keep checking the prices everyday. (R2H though, may be another story. With the hammer it's less than 1gp per xp, too bad you already need 98 smithing or something though.) But that's just me. I just wanted to inform you that there are more options out there. @ Tripis: Yes that's true. That's a pain isn't it? Still though, if you smithed at Varrock, the GE would be so close that the extra speed would make up for it. No, I was not counting SC hammers, so halve all of those costs if you use it: R2H: 1gp/xp RKite: 3gp/xp Addy plate: You say 3xp/gp, which sounds reasonable, although its 3.5 actually halved Addy Bolts: 2.5gp/xp The major downfall with rune is that you need such a high level for it. The xp is very fast though, as I would imagine. So when that level does come, it MUST be worth it. If not through direct gp/xp, then through efficiency. I also looked at rune as well, not sure how other addy items or mith compare. Addy bolts: ~It's Super Effective! March 14, 200917 yr what's an SC hammer? its one of the clay tools that you can get from stealing creations and it doubles the amount of xp u get when using it. They also degrade after a certain number of xp gained from it i believe. Owner of a Quest cape since 9/11/08It's not about the other people, its about shooting cute furry things that explode.
