August 7, 200520 yr I recently bought an NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 4000 (Don't laugh, I'm poor :( ), and I noticed it has an S-video 7-pin TV-out port. I'd like to know if it is possible to link my computer to a TV with only a SCART entrance. Also, if I also have a normal monitor plugged in, will I get a screen image on both the tv and the monitor or is it an either/or system? And since I also have a Gamecube, I'd like to know if I can pull out the link cable on the tv end and then plug it back in without having to reboot my pc to get an image on the tv. August 7, 200520 yr <23:50:05> s-video to composite video cable + composite video/audio to scart converter = pc on tv necro And yes you can unplug it as you want, all it does is disconnects the signal to the tv. Won't damage the pc at all. You should have gotten an s-video to composite converter with the video card. The SCART composite converter should have came with your gamecube, so just use that. So after them all you need is a cable composite to composite video. Notoriously Trollish.
