Jorvall
I'm trying to work my combat up to a higher level. I'm currently 55 atk, str, and def. I have a Rune scimmy and full rune armor set. I'm a member. What skill should I raise next and what weapon should I be looking for? I've always wanted a whip but thats 70 atk and no option to train str so that may have to wait a while. Thank you in advance for any feedback.
Lets_3ekout
Forget about controlled training for a bit. Train on accurate to 60 attack and buy yourself a d scimmy (or d long) ASAP. Once here, train your strength somewhere between 60-70. Consider getting some defence levels now, don't have to though. Train attack again now for 70. Once your here you finally get the almighty whip, best weapon in the game by a mile and a half and it's price is extremely cheap compared to other overated weapons (*cough* Godswords *cough*). That should be the fastest way possible to get your combat up in the long run. After then it's debated. Some say controlled with whip to all 99, some say saradomin sword to 99 strength and use your higher xp rates with whip to finish up on the other two skills. Then there's everything inbetween, it's your call. Jorvall
Sounds like a plan to me. How hard is the monkey madness quest?
Lets_3ekout
Not very. Even pures without prayer and defence do it all the time. Use a guide and you'll breeze through it ;) A Draconic Guide V1.4, Fimer - Multi-Timer Farming Timer V3.Dragon Boots: 39|Abyssal Whips: 16|Dark Bows: 1|
cookie1762
I agree, combat is very useful for many aspects of the game. Maybe try to do a few quests that give lamps or combat xp. The varrok museam is useful for getting lamps for any xp that you want to put it twords. Have fun! :) http://sign.tip.it/1/6/24/304/lady_scm.png Drops/Clue Finds:Shield left half: 1,Dragon plateskirt: 1, Warrior's Helm: 1, Obsidian Cape: 1, Robin Hood Hat: 1, Dragon Platelegs: 1, Dragon Boots: 4, Amulet of Ranging:
Pilipod
just keep going as you are with all your stats balanced improving armor and weapons and armor when you can afford to do so. try doing some quests that unlock dragon weapons like heroes, lost city or monkey madness. dont worry getting dragon armor if you can't afford it as its not a big step up from rune. possibly invest in a granite plate and once you get say 65 att and str go get a rune defender or try using a obby shield. also train slayer use the edgeville slayer master if you arent already.
