neb4488
I recently installed AOL on the computer and runescape hasnt been able to load. I get a weird window that says C++ visual assertion failed and it has three options on it, ABORT IGNORE or RETRY, and if i choose abort or retry it closes AOL or the IE and if i choose ignore it freezes. I tried reinstalling aol and even the Firefox web browser, nothing works. Anyone else using AOL out there? I followed every guide out there about JAVA so im pretty sure thats not the problem. Thanks for any help.

Makoto_the_Phoenix
Okay, I see AOL and Runescape in the topic and it sounds like you just messed your computer up for life (AOL). Here's what you do... You download the RS client from the main site, then you can run it like normal. If you can't get anything other than AOL, your RS days *may* be over. Mercifull
Sticky: Problems using java for playing runescape ? Look here... Reinstall SUN Java and play using the Runescape downloadable client.
