I'm planning on catching red sallys from 59~80 hunter. I'd like to know a few things before I start. First, how much faster does baiting the traps make hunting, and is it cost-effective? Secondly, will smoking my traps make a noticeable difference, and be worth the extra time?

You won't have time to bait or smoke the traps - sally hunting goes pretty quick!

I did some tests (baiting isn't worth it), and smoking the traps had only a little effect on xp per hour, it wasn't much (I can't remember my numbers, but I know it wasn't too big to really care about).

Just normally catch them, the xp goes very fast too :
