March 19, 200917 yr Just a little rant about how some familiars which would be useful are so annoying that I just don't want to use them. Take, for instance, a fruit bat. Since I like farming, I would love the free seeds and fruit it forages; however, since every time it forages an item it feels a need to interrupt my cooking, crafting, smithing, everything, I just won't use it! Another side note is when my familiar "teleports" next to me, it feels a need to close any interfaces I have open. I just feel that some familiars would be much more useful and utilized if simple annoyances were remedied. What are your opinions? How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
March 19, 200917 yr agreed, no need to stop doing what you are doing when your familiar produces something. Hopefully something Jagex will look into when (if) they ever plan on upgrading summoning. March 19, 200917 yr Every time I try to decant after a Slayer trip, I teleport to Cabbage patch and go to Draynor, if I have a bunyip out it will almost always teleport next to me and make me misclick, then waste a dose of whatever I was clicking on. Well they are already profitable... The beaver will break even mostly, but it's real use is the wc boost. Magpie only exists to produce gems and rings and you can expect around 8-10k profit per 35 minutes pouch. Fruit bats are the perfect farming producing familiar, generating from 10k to 20k per 45 minutes pouch. I think those are mostly balanced and the only cons are the action-stoping teleports or item producing. If the item gathering would work like granite lobster or ibis when fishing, it would be fixed. Really annoying (for example) at Sara GWD when you don't have a hot-key to move you to the tab with the button save you from sword barrage when you notice you're low on run energy. >.< And yeah, the interruption is annoying too.
