Alch X, agility X, cut X, slay X, farm X, runecraft X,

I could go on and and on and...X

lol? are you okay, went a bit overboard I assume.

How do you Runecraft X lol... its a one click process, and same with Woodcut but agility, slayer and farming has nothing to do with the X's. :wall: :wall: :wall:

God these threads annoy.

Get over it!

Skills get easier with time.

You all moan whenever a new x option is added and rational that the exsisting ones don;t matter cause they were "easy anyway"

Well news flash cooking, fletching, smithing and every other skill with an x option was an utter nightmare to train before the x option was added the same as prayer was and firemaking is.

Its not gonna change anything moaning about it everytime a new one crops up and rationalling all old ones off as oh they were easy anyway because you never played or trained that skill before the x option came in.

X options get added to save clicking, skills get easier over time. Deal with it.

I mean I don't see anyone moaning that the new uber powerful weapons ruin the game because they turn once challenging boss monsters into easy ones.

That has nothing to do with what we are discussing.

We are discussing if there WILL or WILL NOT be a firemake X option.. To be honest I thought a person with such years on this Forum will have known to read the actually question before randomly posting and chucking a spaz about it.

I am aware of what the thread is discussing but there clearly are replies about prayer being ruined by the x option and being amde easier.

I just compressed notions from many threads on x options into the most decent one to form a reply. and its not even a "spazz" about it its just saying get over yourself if you moan about x options all skills get easy with time. Which relates nicely to the main thread topic as firemaking getting a x option would make it easier.

To tell you the truth I'm not keen on the pray x addition.

Before I would burn through bones like crazy, about 500 in about 20 minutes. Now its about double the time, with no option to manually use them. Not only this but the cost of bones has gone up a lot because its now a slow, but steady skill.

Burn x would be the death of firemaking IMO.

x skills are the ones which involve standing still and clicking, no movement, no environment issues, etc.

Firemaking, involves a lot of user interaction to do well. Crafting, Cooking and Praying, required you to click like crazy and focus on a small section of the screen.

I would like Burn X. It's tough to chat while training so I turn chat off in order to get some decent experience rates. It would be alot less clicking and one would have a chance to add to the social aspect of the game instead of just grinding it out. FM is such a useless skill anyway, why worry about "the death of firemaking".

I'm glad I got my prayer cape before the alter update. The rate/hour was amazing with the gilded alter in my house. The downfall to getting that cape was my friends didn't see me on-line for quite awhile.

Somehow I don't think obstacles are as much as a problem as everyone's saying..

That's basically saying they wouldn't have been able to put in auto-cast spells incase you ran out of runes

Also, skills like fm and prayer and different than slayer and agility

With skills they have x for already, and firemaking. Those skills take about a minute to get rid of items in your inventory. If there was slay-x and agility-x, that would be afk training for hours at a time. With lack of randoms every minute, you could leave something on an arrow key and train agility for days only having to look at your character every few hours. At least with these skills, you still need to watch for when you need to bank for the best xp.

The skills they've made X for only seem to be ones you'd need to click fast for fast xp anyway. Basically ones that would damage your wrists if you did them as fast as you could for days at a time. Firemaking is one of them, so I'd expect to see Firemaing-x sometime in the future.

Before I would burn through bones like crazy, about 500 in about 20 minutes. Now its about double the time

Umm did you ever keep up that 500 bones per 20 minute speed?... because getting up to 90 prayer before the update turned me off of prayer for good, even with the bones for 99 banked there was NO will to finish that what-so-ever... It was strenuous and unenjoyable to go fast, almost enough to deter you from attempting it anyway.

Now you have a decent rate of exp, 200k exp/hour is plenty for any stat, and you don't have to damage your body in the process.

Hell I would take 120k exp/hour... who cares.. its better than the 50k from RC'in and the 30k from slayer. 40k from fishing yay!... get where I am going?...

Apparently, my signature was to big.

Nah it was a burst of extreme concentration (it was slightly more then 500 bones and slightly over 20 minutes) and a nice laser mouse. But I'd rather spend 20 minutes concentrating and then playing the game for 40 minutes doing something else I enjoy or making the money back. The new update its a drag, you spend ages just waiting for it to finish the animation. You can't try to beat your best time or challenge yourself.

I prefer to speed do bits of the game which I find boring, I'd rather grind for 10 minutes then 20 minutes half doing 2 things.
