c4 Posted August 13, 2005 Share Posted August 13, 2005 Numerous times have I tried to view pictures ppl post and end up looking at a shunk version in thumbnail form, and with the URL to imgshack next to it in text rather than in link form... How hard is it to just copy the url to the picture than copy imageshacks site with spaces between the tags...it doesnt take a genious to read stickies about how to post an image and then its not hard to realize there shouldnt be spaces between the context and tags.... People these days, if your smart enough to make an image, you should be smart enough to be able to move your mouse and find out how to post simple images. Anyways, I guess did it ever occour to you that people dont want to stretch the forums by posting large pictures? I'm sure you've worked big before, and not a lot of people like having to try and look at a 1600x1200 or larger image when it is streching the boards... No one forces you to look at their stuff. If its in a thumbnail, you don't have to click it. No one is pointing a gun to your head yelling "click the thumbnail!" And, you must agree, your title was very oxymoron-ish. You use "ppl" and in the same sentence call people lazy :? , makes a lot of sense. Just telling you, we don't have to agree with you. venomai Posted August 14, 2005 Share Posted August 14, 2005 Unless I'm mistaken, posting large images in a thumbnail (thus smaller filesize) will usually eat away less site bandwidth to tip.it, not to mention a lot of people don't have internets that can handle getting plowed with massive image sizes. Sooo... not only are people getting lazy these days, but they're becoming extremely generous too! OMG WHAT'S THIS WORLD COMING TO???!?!!!111!!!! WE'RE ALL DOOMED!!!!1!111!!!!!!!!!! I wasnt saying that I have a problem with the Thumbnails themselves, I have a problem with people that just copy and paste the given url to a thumbnail...such as... This image does not have a link, it has the text of the link... And you guys call me idiotic, now i swear, this is annoying!!!
