I was wondering one, if a Unicorn would be considerably better, and, two, how much would it cost to get from 80-88 summoning? Odds are I'll be barraging charms, since I can't stand waterfiends. April 7, 200917 yr Charm ratio at rock lobsters: 8:5:16:0.5 (gold/green/crim/blue, rates are from personal data of 3k bursts so might be off by a lot L) About 100k xp/1k bursts. 2.4m xp for 80-88 summoning, so around 12k bursts or 13m cost for just that. You'd get around: 1.5k golds (making barker toads) - 130k xp, 500k loss (assuming you sell on the g/e) 950 greens (making fruit bats) - 115k xp, 1200k loss (assuming you sell on the g/e) 3.1k crims (making granite lobs, swamp titans might be more effecient) - 1000k xp, 5000k loss (assuming you sell on the g/e) 100 blues (making any titan) - 70k xp, 210k loss (assuming you sell on the g/e) These are very rough estimates, but whatever. They should give you an indication. It would be a total of ~7m to use your charms, and about 13m to bursts those. 20m total. Oh wait, you said barraging. Just add a few more million to the cost of getting the charms L
April 7, 200917 yr A bit OT, but what is your TD setup? I use a titan, and without a BOB I can get about 12-15 kills. Maybe try testing out different setups. Also, 1k bursts is about 1m, with barrage being about 1.1-1.3m, in that range. I believe it will cost around 25m to go from 80-88, including seconds. April 8, 200917 yr That is my general setup. I last around 12-15 kills with it. I could use a BoB, but that adds about 150k for only a few more kills I found. April 8, 200917 yr Ya, thats part of the reason I don't use a bob, not worth the added cost. Even though D hally works decent, I think a better setup would be zammy book+whip, although I have yet to try this, with D hally for specs. Maybe give it a try? Book would give extra prayer, and whip would be alot faster. Maybe try another shield too, like falador shield 2 or 3. April 8, 200917 yr Author I've tried Whip and Zammy book and Whip and spirit shield, and I found that the speed of kills was just as quick as with Halberd, but also, it was very supply intensive. So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
April 8, 200917 yr OK, that makes sense. I would say plan on 25m for 88 summoning, and at least 15 hours or so bursting. I prefer slayer though, as I can't stand bursting. April 9, 200917 yr 88 summoning is more useful and would make getting the money for 99 con easier. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

April 9, 200917 yr 20 kills with titan is very good! try using defender instead of zammy book (it will help for darklight also). Also - killing TD really helps for summoning (lots of blues), so you might raise it to 88 just by doing that. + Sara GS is very very helpful. Now that you have the claws drop - if you can afford it - try it (the price is reasonably stable so you can sell it if you don't like it)
April 9, 200917 yr First off TDs drop awesome blues. I normally leave with 30+ of them. Secondly, i use NO food at all with my unicorn, so i can last as long as however many ppots i bring, normally 10/12. This can leave me with 30 kills+ depending on if i take sgs and what my darklight hits are like. Unicorn is well worth it. EDIT: Shame im at around 300 kills without claws :(
