Barrows kill count?

So i was watching a couple of barrows guide videos on youtube and these guys were getting

 

their kill counts up to 13! O.o

 

I always to 6-7 kills so that was KIND OF shocking :shock:

 

 

 

So i was wondering...How many kills do get and how often to you get any barrows items?

I don't Barrows much, but when I did I did 6, and whatever other monsters were attacking me and I just decided to kill. KC doesn't effect barrows drops. It works like this: You kill whatever monsters you kill, and the items they would NORMALLY drop are put in the chest. So higher KC just means more runes/coins/etc.

only the brother drop special stuff like barrows items/dmed etc. the killcount just increases the amount of runes you get. mosly a kc between 13-20 is best since getting more is just waste of time...

I've found 12 to be the sweet spot. It doesn't take all that long, and you're getting more runes. With less than 12, there are a lot fewer runes, and therefore runs aren't as profitable. 6 or 7 is stupid, to be completely honest, as you won't even get bolt racks or blood runes with that many kills, losing a lot of potential profit.

I usually get 15, however KC only applies to drops such as blood runes, bolt racks and other stackables. NOT barrows loot. These are random, and only rely on you killing all brothers. Good luck! :)

I get worse loot with around 25-30 KC than when I just get 6-7 KC.

Don't bother wasting your time getting extra kill count, since bloods and racks are not very valuable anymore. Focus on killing the brothers and getting their armor faster.
