Kimberly
So I tried using the search function...but it seems to be broken for me. I'm sorry if this can be found elsewhere, I was having trouble doing so. I really want 94 mage for Barraging. I'm trying to figure out a way to do this. I currently have about 8mil to spend on this goal. I'd like a method that I could achieve it within a week. At this point and time, is there any viable method out there for my resources? EDIT: If you could give me a rough (I don't care how rough ^^) estimate of what I'd need for your suggested method too, that'd be fantastic \ If not, given my stats what would you suggest I do for money? (If GWD, which one?) See below for a stat signature: Thanks in advance for all of your help <
The_Fray
Within a week would be pretty tough using the cheap but slower methods of training magic. I would suggest you have to use some expensive method such as string jewlery or (dare I suggest) bursting at rock lobsters. If you are willing to spend the money then I would suggest the rock lobsters as it would be nice to get all those charms along with 94 magic. You could always alch but you would have to pretty much spend 6-7 hours a day to get 94 in a week.

Kimberly
String jewellery, perfect for everything you need/have. About how many unstrung ammies would you say I'd go through per hour? EDIT: Gold and Pingu, do you think with 8mil startup cash I would be able to achieve this? Or do you think I would need to make more money? Your Grandpa
Stringing amulets would definatley get you from 88 to 94 in a week if you worked at it, but it might cost a little bit more than 8m.

llamster
Not much point in stringing amulets; bursting is barely any more expensive at around 4gp per xp versus stringing's 3.25. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

RoxSabre
Bursting would be alot better considering your getting crimson charms along with it.

I agree with this, if it is costing you nearly the same amount of money, why not burst till there. I read that Bursting is nearly 200k magic experience per hour and then there is the added bonus of charms. I have been thinking about bursting myself but due to the lack of available funds (most of money in pure essence) am not being able to do so. Kimberly
Sorry for the bump, I was away at class. Since a goal of mine is 88 summoning as well, and the difference per cast is only .75 gp, I think I'll make some more money and go for bursting. Could someone direct me to a bursting guide? I'm afraid the search feature still isn't working for me. . . God knows why *facepalm* Or an explanation would be very much appreciated. Thanks you guys are lovely <
