Ezkaton
I'm a serious slayer, however recently i took a break to (unsuccessfully so far) try and get the barrows gloves. I've heard a hell of alot off this berserker ring and so i'm gona check the tip.it items base in a sec to see what it costs and what it does........ but is it worth it over a ring of wealth? I mean...... Will this berserker ring add any effect to my slayer at all? Will it take away the quailty of the drops i get if i use instead of ring of wealth? Opinions etc please Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D

mujammil
Unless you have millions of spare cash, then i don't think you should buy it. And in terms of affecting rare drops, i believe RoW is useless, just use RoL or something.

And in terms of affecting rare drops, i believe RoW is useless, just use RoL or something. ROW INCREASES RARE DROP RATE! But not in a significant enough manner that most people want to use the RoW. :P The mechanics of the RoW have been explained on these boards many times, and we've been told the same things from Jagex, so we know how it works, and we know that yes, it DOES affect rare drops. But not everyone finds that its significant enough to even worry about it.

And in terms of affecting rare drops, i believe RoW is useless, just use RoL or something. ROW INCREASES RARE DROP RATE! Ring of Wealth increases the chance of WHICH rare drop you get... How drop's work: 2 Wheels are involved, the first wheel spun decides WHAT CATEGORY DROP WILL COME FROM. Rare, Uncommon, Common, ect. The second wheel decides WHAT DROP FROM THAT CATEGORY YOU GET. Ring of wealth increases the size of the spot on the SECOND WHEEL, but only if your first wheel was the RARE wheel, NOT the first wheel.

Zaaps1
IMO warrior's ring > berserker ring +1, although I don't really think either is worth the cost. I always bring either a wealth or dueling ring. They don't actually help that much, it's only like +4 slash attack, which you'll hardly notice, and +2 strength, which you'll also hardly notice. ~It's Super Effective! sumondskull6
IMO warrior's ring > berserker ring how are those bonus as small as they are affect anything? Warrior ring increases your chance to hit, very useful. Berzerker ring increases your max hit by 1, very useful. Ring of wealth, like I stated before, is very useless. Ezkaton
They seem small but they help alot :-s Warrior ring gives +4 slash attack and defence Berserker gives +4 strength and +4 in crush tbh i'm really unsure how much these bonuses would help me? Will there be any real effect in my slayer? Also out of the 2 which should i go for in the beginning? I haven't used anything other than a berzerker/warrior since I was in the 70's a couple of years ago, go with Berzerker if you can afford it, warrior if you cant. Warrior ring increases your chance to hit, very useful. Berzerker ring increases your max hit by 1, very useful. Ring of wealth, like I stated before, is very useless. Ring of wealth only seems unless because it's all random. It does, in fact, help. Unless you're after something that isn't labeled as expensive, such as a clue, you have no evidence to say that RoW does not help, while Jagex states that the RoW does help you get expensive drops more often. Warrior ring gives +4 to slash and only slash. Zerker ring gives +4 strength, but that only makes it possible to hit higher, not adding damage. +1 damage every once in a while is completely no worth it. When every damage counts, such as when you are pking, then maybe it'll help. But when you are dealing thousands of damage then honestly you'll do maybe 50 extra damage because of the ring in 1 hour, and that's 200xp. +200xp per hour is not worth the high sticker price when that money is better spent on prayer potions for Superhuman Strength or Piety. ~It's Super Effective! Zaaps1
Ok...and? It still makes the drops more valuable... I agree if you have money to throw around you might as well buy one, but I still think the RoW helps more. +4 slash really does nothing and neither does +4 strength. ~It's Super Effective!
