I'm trying to get into the GOP minigame, but first I need to go from pitiful level 29 Runecrafting to level 50. What is the fastest way to do this (without losing money)? Thanks for the help!

 

 

 

*EDIT* Right now I'm mining a bunch of essence, and then making Air runs, as they are the quickest (mind is WAY too far out to be time-efficient). Is this the best way? Also, I don't have any FoG tokens, so I can't use Air Gloves - should I work on getting them (and waste time playing FoG)?

Air runes. Earths/bodies are much faster but cost money.

Oops - yeah, just editing my post, 'cus I'm currently mining my own essence and then making Air Runes w/o Air Gloves.

Okay, so I'm playing FoG until I get 675 tokens (for 9 Air Gloves). Then I'm going to mine 8K essence in East Varrock. Then I'm going to runecraft 9K essence into 30K+ Air Runes. A few questions:

 

 

 

A) How long should this take me (with only an hour of playing a day)?

 

B) Would I be better off just buying the essence and then selling the Air Runes (to break even but be quicker)?

 

C) Is this the quickest way to get to level 50 Runecrafting from level 30 while breaking even (if not making a little)?

Yeah I would just buy the rune ess, make air runes with air gloves, then sell them. I think you would save a TON more time by not mining, but of course the trade off is very much less profit.

About your FOG games, 70+ magic helps ALOT. I have 70 mag and i hit double digits with fire blast very often.

 

 

 

Make sure you have AT LEAST lvl2 explorers ring and sinced your mining your own essence you should do earth's + varrok tele.... with double earths at lvl 26 you actually profit

FOG gloves water runes till u can use the earth rc gloves. Then u craft earths w/ gloves. Fastest way possible in f2p. I did it to 50

Its more exp per run, and the distance from a bank to the alter is about the same.
