ClareJonsson
Usual thing here, please make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and download the latest version of Java. [Assist-X]
Sbrideau
What browser do you use? I know there are some issues between Firefox and Java on Vista 64bit (which are still easy to tweak).

Dracion1
I'd try the following: Redownload and reinstall Java and your graphics drivers. Might be a faulty file somewhere. Delete the JaGex cache. You can find it in C:\WINDOWS (Or whatever drive your windows folder is on) and it's very obvious to spot; it'll be called .jagex_cache_32, or possibly .jagex_cache_64 since you've got 64-bit Vista. aspokaspofkjsopfkapo
Download opera and try runescape on that. ONLY relpy once you've done that. It looks to me like it might be a plugin issue. PS. dl opera, not chrome, not safari, OPERA.
Sbrideau
Hmm, I don't know if my solution would work since it worked only in IE before I did the tweak in the Java control panel, but on yours it doesn't work, so most of the chances are that the problem is different. I'll tell you the tweak if the post over mine doesn't help at all.
