English is extremely widespread, so it would be hard to generalize it. However, if you were to bring it into a smaller perspective, and say Brittish English, or American English, you could easily discriminate against grammar. Edit: Nevermind my post. Other countries adopted their own spelling changes, etc. So yes, their way is correct as well. But if you had to pick one for the world, it would be British.
