April 27, 200917 yr So I really hate ranged, but it's a crappy skill to me and I think I should raise it. Sooo, since I know like nothing about it, what would you suggest I train on? And armor? + bow, or knives? or what? Thanks in advance. :

April 27, 200917 yr I was in a simular situation trying to go 70-80 range. I wore; [*:v8ek8axe]Black d'hide (Void or Red d'hide for you) [*:v8ek8axe]Helm of neit (robin hood toward the end) [*:v8ek8axe]Glory [*:v8ek8axe]Archers ring [*:v8ek8axe]Snakeskin boots (ranger toward the end) I trained at Yaks with range potions and was able to get around 40k exp and hour. Good luck mate.
April 27, 200917 yr Author Hmm. Yaks seem good, but they don't drop charms. I'm looking for a monster that drops charms too, because after 70 ranged I plan to get 57 summoning. Any ideas?
April 27, 200917 yr Black demons and fire giants spring to mind. Not sure about black demons at sub 70 though. April 27, 200917 yr If your rich = Iron Knifes @ Firegiant or any other monster that may be ranged If your really rich = Use red Chinchompas and prayer pots, the go and AoE exp. As for training wear the best gear you can get, maybe try getting void while ranging the portals for some experience. Black knives work well on Fire Giants in the waterfall. Loads of safespots. I did 67-70 range at fire giants and i didn't mind the rune arrow drops plus the rune scimmy drops. It also helped me get 10k+ fire runes lol. I think Fire Giants are a good place to train. I went from 60 to 70 there... I'd suggest training your Slayer skill at the same time if you could...range anything that you can and just keep racking up the experience that way (and if you've done Smoking Kills, the points).
