We were FORCED to study French. No other choices :x I'd rather learn Spanish. Mine's the Toronto Catholic District School Board. I dropped it last year too, I'm going into gr. 10. I took up 1 Business course 1 Computer course and 1 Visual Arts course for my electives. and to the comment about people who like anime because you have to is just idiotic. I've been watching Anime since gr. 3 and loved it from there. Uldric Posted August 26, 2005 Share Posted August 26, 2005 I've been learning Japanese for about 6 years and can understand most of the spoken language. You really need to go somewhere where it is spoken regularly to get the gist of it. Where I live, we get alot of Japanese tourists going to the Great Barrier Reef. I work on a dive boat going out to the reef and get paid big bucks to translate what people are saying. For my 3 classes, i took music, computer and information sciences (erm sorta programing), and team games (A co-ed gym class were we mostly learn how to co-operate and play sports well) and to the comment about people who like anime because you have to is just idiotic.
