April 28, 200917 yr You have to inspect the tracks right next to it. Are you sure you haven't gone up to a hunter thing? Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.-Random Youtuber

April 29, 200917 yr You're following the wrong tracks. On the north end of the island there are some faint tracks leading to a cave blocked with ice or something like that.
April 29, 200917 yr What you are currently doing is hunting for kebbits, which has nothing to do with the quest. On the very northern part of that area you are on has a big block of ice, and near it should be some tracks that you can examine. Afterwards you use a pickaxe to mine an opening in that block.
