Ardougne lvl 62 Paladins drops

Featured Replies

I am level 51 with 41 strength, 44 defence and 44 attack and wearing a ring of wealth. I want to kill the paladins in ardougne for their drops but whenever i kill one all i ever get is bones and coins. why dont they drop anything else? is it something to do with my levels? please help.

Drops don't depend on your level. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=103, here is a list of what they drop. You just get a little unlucky.

[hide=Drops]Slayer:Draconic Visage x3, Abyssal Whip x23, Dark Bow x3, Dragon Platelegs x3, Dragon Boots x40, Dragon Plateskirt x4, Shield Left Half x3, Dragon Medium Helms x10

GWD:

CS: Zamorakian Spear x2, Zamorak Hilt x1, Bandos Chestplate x1, Sara Sword x1

DKs: Dragon Hatchet x3 Beserker Ring x1[/hide]

thanks alot. i guess i am just unlucky cos ive killed atleast 30 of them and got nothing but bones and gold. im mostly killing them for the clue scrolls.

If you want to.... tell me your levels in pm and I can determine what you should kill for clues + cash as a biproduct, btw... if you are doing clues solely for money, and are cluefarming (killing things just for clues), then stop. Unless you like the challenge, clues suck for cash, big time. The average clue to me is under 100k, that's doing level 3's fighting things that max 30's consistantly....

Clues are great for money!!!! You only do a 15-20 miniutes of hunting and you get stuff to sell on G.E, you might even get something rare. The best luck i've had for level 2 clue hunting are cockatrices. These seem to drop them more often and they are super easy to kill. Just go to slayer cave east of relakka, they are in there. Hope this helps you and don't stop doing clues, they are fun and great money.

It's not unusual to go much longer than that without getting a clue scroll. Just make sure you don't already have one in your bank because you can only have one at a time.

Ive done 200-300 level 3 clues. (not a massive amount, but enough to know to stop doing them)

My best rewards are 1 sara kite and 1 sara helm. both worth 1m

nothing else over 100k ever.

my average clue is in the 30-60k range. I once had a pure fire lighter clue. 20 minutes spent for 0 gp(2 puzzles in that clue and at least 7 steps)

of the 50 or so hours ive wasted doing clues i could have made at least 20-50m doing other things. or gotten a skill half way to 99

Clues are a bad source of cash. I got all these clues off slayer so no time was lost obtaining them. If you are clue farming, then the amount of cash per hour is affected by alot more. spending 10-20 minutes getitng a clue then another 10-20 minutes doing one say you do 2-3 clues an hour and got a lucky average of 100k a reward (unlikely) you are making 200-300k an hour tops. just to put it in perspective, your likely to get 50-200k an hour or nothing at all even.

if you have fun doing them then go ahead, runescape is all about having fun. but as a source of cash these are not the way to go. level 1/2 clues are no better really either

Dragon Drops: 80+ boots, 7 med, 3 skirt, 2 left half, 2 Spear, 2 2h

Slayer: 30+ whips, 4 Bows, 1 Mask, 3 Granite Legs, 1 Visage (Wyverns)

Notable GWD Splits: Bandos Tassets: 12, Bandos Chest: 11, Bandos Hilt: 2

Proud Slayer of 99 Att/Str/Def/HP/Range/Summoning

If you're going to clue farm, at least thieve level 1 clues from HAM members. You should get them pretty quickly.

Here is an old clue farming log that me and a friend did once:

It's very old, but it'll give you an idea of how random good clue rewards are. Sometimes you get huge rewards one after the other, and sometimes you have 20+ clue dry streaks.

SWAG

Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

I've got quite lucky with clues in the past, my best rewards are: Red elegant top, wizards robe (t), rune platebody and rune kiteshield, at the end of the day, its all down to luck, you can never predict the exact time when you should get a reward, or have a dry run.

Since the top hat update clues have sucked for me, I rarely ever get a reward over 50k.

Fixed.

The chance was lowered, from what I can see.
