Question about 99 Fletching

Featured Replies

Hi, I want to get 99 fletching but I don't know what would be the best way, without losing money.

Right now I'm thinking about making yew longs, buying BS and yew logs, then selling the strung yew long back. However, this will only work if yew longs sell in the G.E.

Another method i'm thinking about is cutting magic or yew logs and buying BS, then alching with bought nature runes.

Which would be the best way, and if you have better methods, please let me know! Thanks :)

Try bolting, as in, adding feathers to bolts. WITH MOUSEKEYS! :D. It's pretty awesome xp. It's cheap too I think. You may even profit off some.

Mousekeys guide: Basically you use numpad for moving your cursor. You'll work it out.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Ray, isn't that an exact copy of the post you made in the other fletching thread?

Anyway.

I think you lose money with buying BS and natures. Tip it has a calculator under "Special Calculators" that does that kind of thing. Check with that. Magic is slower if you cut the logs yourself, but faster if you buy them all. Cutting takes wayyyyyy too long.

If you try to cut, it will take you a VERY long time. Getting 99 fletch without losing money is very hard: I lost somewhere between 3-5 mil, and alced and made nats for part of that. Doing yew longs is a good way, but I would give up on not losing money, and just try to find a balance between good cash and fast exp: after all, if you spend an hour to save 50k, and you can make 50k/hour, then you might as well just have spent the extra money: it goes towards your goal.

Also, DO NOT count on using fletching as a moneymaking tool after 99: there is no real reason to do anything after yew longs for cash, and chances are, you will be fairly tired, if not sick of it, after you reach the vaunted double-nine.

Good luck with your goal, and if you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.

Yeah thats true, cutting is not even a feasible option for me. I guess I will be ok with losing a few mil.

Should I do yew longs or magics? I think I did yew longs before I quit.. Not sure if its the best way though. Thanks!

I did yew longs (buying and cutting the logs, buying the bowstrings) from 70 to 75, I made minimal cash, alright exp, but I wouldn't recommend it for higher levels.
