If in doubt, try a texture. That's what I always say :D

It's pretty good in terms of lighting and colours. Even the text placement/font choice is decent, but I'd either make it more readable or remove it completely.

The text on the second sig is a bit odd; the two different colors don't mesh well. Otherwise it's decent.
