IMO, the texture is too "visible" if you get what I'm saying.

Hmm, really? I like being able to see the detail of all the cracks.

Having at at maxium opacity and whatever blending mode it's on just makes it look slapped on. I mean, people don't want to see where you've erased the texture using a soft brush, do they? I can see that on her nose, btw.

Yeah I would say tone down the opacity a bit, it doesn't have to be too much, just so that it's still visible.

Good point. I edited it a bit, I got the chest area to blend much better and have a lot more depth, but I'm having trouble with the face. Any advice?

is it on overlay? I just don't think it looks appealing atm.

I tried it, it looks a tad better I guess, I just had to add another gradient though because it makes the stuff i want hidden visible.
