69pwneduross Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 well ive been doing barrows since level 60 and my stats are only 60 prayer 67 hp i think 72 range and 64 mage but ive tried 2 range there and i did fine against the mager and the ranger but i failed big time against meleers so i just mage wind bolt i think its called level 60 sumting mage i do just fine accept against the ranger but i still win u need 43+ prayer unless u have like 99 defense u guess but bring prayer pots and sharks u need a few quests done first when u go through the swamp make sure u RUN cause the ghast there will make ur food go nasty and u cant eat it u need a spade 2 before u open the chest make sure u have 10 or more kills so u get better items u kill all 6 brothers then kill 4 or more monsters in the cave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I use slayer dart on the melee bros and use my whip on ahrim. There are safespots in veracs, dharoks, and guthans crypts. They are the piles of rubble along the walls. It requires stepping out to cast (by clicking on the brother) and then stepping back to where you were standing where you can't get hit. By doing this I can manage 12+ chests per trip using full guthans to heal and bringing about 2 or 3 prayer pots for when I fight karil. I can't really explain the safespot that well, so I'll make some pics tomorrow, can't do it right now though cause I'm gettin ready to go to a party. I'll send you the pics as soon as I can though. Goodluck getting some drops. My last trip there I got veracs skirt, torags legs, and ahrims hood all in a row. :thumbsup: 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. ANY spell is good for meleers, Magic dart has NO advantages over Fire wave, except sometimes through fluctuation, it's cheaper by like 10-20gp. You also get less xp to boot.
