hihihi727
'twas a joke. D legs own d skirt lol who cares about 500k. 5700 posts. how does d legs own d skirt if they have the same stats 500K is worth not looking fail. Hmm, Ray, remind me who I sold a D Skirt to once. I actually had NO money lol I used it all getting 30 on every skill. I kinda grinded mage expensively too :S Just be happy I didn't mention the discount... Oops, too late. And in a late reply to hihihi, you're generalising, I hate that. Its the friggin' low levels that annoy us, and the "high" levels annoy us too. I can't go around wearing what the hell I want without getting "Emot plz" and "Lend for 24h plz". Yes, I did put in some "hard work" for my stats. One can argue that you're not doing hard work working in retail, serving customers, but guess what, you are. As long as something requires concentration, it will, to some degree, be hard work. Don't [bleep] generalise and make us out to be the bad guys. Its the [bleep] kids, not the damned high levels. I, and many other mature players, help out people who have genuine problems, but honestly, we get tired of hearing "3k plz" and such. Hell, when playing, I either lend a rare to my mate, or stop because people annoy me. Err are you sure you know what i'm talking about? I'm ranting about how people think that high levels have put in a lot of hard work, when in fact they are playing a game, in other words they have more free time so they have less work. I'm not saying anything about "Emot plz" or "Lend for 24h plz" i'm talking about when people go "wow i really respect that guy for having a slayer skillcape, he must have worked hard!" I seriously have no idea where you got the idea that i'm angry at high levels for not giving me 3k... in fact i never even said i hated high levels at all, so how am i generalizing? Unless you are saying that i'm generalizing that high levels don't work hard to get high stats. If so then prove me wrong. Tell me why you consider training a skill, eg strength equals hard work (doesn't most of runescape revolve around training skills?)... i honestly have no idea how playing a computer game makes you a more hard working and respectful person than someone who works too much to be able to play Runescape as much. Kiriyama
I understood you, I addressed the point of hard work too, though admittedly, I went off on a tangent since you were [bleep]ing about high levels. Kiriyama
Meh, maybe I jumped the gun a little too. Must have read "I just hate it when people act like it makes them better- i see proof of this almost every day like last week when someone called me a noob for not being able to afford d legs" a bit too much and looked into it too much. But, generally when people who say something similar then start generalising and judge the majority on the minority, I've heard abuse thrown at both high and low levels, and I've taken the neutral stance in judging people not on their levels, but who they are as a person. I've had people on a similar level to me act like real morons, while I've enjoyed conversations with those who are lower level, because of how differently they act. I tend not to judge on age either. I've spoken to people younger, such as Mini193, and enjoyed doing so, and the fact we could have a mature conversation. While I've had people claiming to be older making a real arse of themself. I can't remember what some of these people done, all I know is that they done something stupid, or their general attitude was appalling. unkn0wnwarrior
On the main topic of hard work, I would not say it is hard, but it can definitely be work. I have worked on my current account for around 5 years, and have gotten to level 116 with 1248 total, fully in F2P. I work outside of the game, but not usually full-time hours. I would love to have full-time hours, but it just isn't in the cards right now. But at lower levels, to some people, getting most 99s would look like hard work, even though it isn't really that hard at all. It is all about perspective. As for the less relevant topic of low levels vs high levels, I agree with Sworddude. It is not a level that determines who you are. I have met plenty of respectable lower levels, and plenty of the opposite. Likewise with high levels. The same goes with younger and older players, as well, although usually to a lesser extent in my experiences.
LinovUSA
"I have a cooking cape :? " Anyways, dont pay attention to all of that and just play the game. It cant get any simple then that.
llVIU
you take the internet too seriously he probably just got his cooking cape and because of the boredom of weeks of cooking, started running around like a noob (like I do when I'm bored) yeah, so people can call you a noob for no reson, when they're bored. it happens a lot Goal: getting all skills to
Zaaps1
I have nothing against high levels. Sometimes i'm even impressed by their blue party hat or prayer skillcape. But why do so many people respect high levels because of the "hard work" they have put in? The other day a guy with a cooking cape came came up to me and went "noob you have an obby cape i have a skill cape hahaha" and i'm like "ok" and he's like "haha you're jealous because you can't get a 99. haha. lol. noob. hehe.". Better response: "Oh wow man, nice, you have a cooking cape. Gj, that's pretty cool. I wish I had one instead of an obby cape." Then leave him alone. They'll be tormented over if you were sarcastic or not, but they really can't say much since you're complimenting them. Or if you're like me and like to have fun and mess around with them: "Cooking cape? Wtf? You cook capes? How do they taste?!" And then continue for a few lulz. ~It's Super Effective! Cacmypants
Deciding to train slayer instead of playing castle wars I have a HUGE respect for anyone with even a SINGLE PIECE of gold-black cwars armor. You know why? because you need to have spent at the very least 483 HOURS to gain enough tickets for the FULL armor, that's not counting all the times you LOSE. In reality, it's more like 900 HOURS. 900 hours, that's 37 DAYS of total gameplay, enough time to earn well over 50,000,000exp in most skills. freaking insane. and cwars actually requires some degree of concentration and stratedgy, not mindless clicking. Yeah but even so, its mainly your team that will decide whether you get tickets or not, the next most important thing would be your levels which would require "mindless clicking" and THEN your strategy/concentration. Even if you were a level 3 that did nothing, you still have a decent chance of winning- all you need is TIME. High levels (and i mean ultra high- like 5 99's high) get that way because they put more time into the game. Why is this regarded as hard work when in reality it is usually because these people have way to much spare time/ too lazy to work?

Exactly, a lot more TIME goes into obtaining full gold-black cwars than one 99 skill no matter which way you look at it. And yeah... Having that much time in the first place is beyond me, at least atm, I can see it happening in the near future when I've left school, lol.
