  1. I wear skinny jeans almost every day lol. My other obsession is shoes I've wasted soooooo much money on them. Nike air force and converses mainly. Theres a shoe shop near my house so its really convenient to buy some
  2. I hate inflation i sold all my items because i was quitting membership a week after the pvp statuettes update and now everything costs 3x as much. Plus the blue halloween mask that i was only a few 100k away from is now 50mil too expensive for me @@. But there is a really good way of earning money; Its called MTK and Farming. Yes i know most people know about it already but i didn't and now i don't even have to go out of my way to earn money because MTK earns me 400k a day at 5 minutes a week, and one ranarr run earns me over 100k in 10 minutes and i spend the rest of my time on Runescape mucking around
  3. I quit members just after the Statuettes update and sold all my armour/weapons... a few months later when i returned my bank value had been reduced to a quarter of its original value. Now my goal of getting a blue h'ween mask isn't 600k away but something like 50,60mil away
  4. sorry but from reading from what i can see your post is the most "negative" one here. i mean wtf, people have to kill themselves because they don't think Runescape classic is worth playing? o.O
  5. Well i just got a wizard robe(g) from treasure trails and i've noticed the price of it keeps on increasing... when should i sell it? 1.5mil is tons for me lol. Also, i noticed that herbs are crashing. I'm already selling my ranarrs but should i keep the other herbs and hope they go back up?

    Skill Capes

Make fun of me because of my stats? You just made yourself the poster child for the kind of player we are talking about. Well done! You are actually the poster child for being too lazy to get a skill cape. If others make fun of you, and you mind that much, you could always just get another one in a few weeks. And 63 prayer is really BS'y. I could get 1->70 in under 4 hours for [bleep]'s sake. LOL. Since when have people been considered lazy because they are too busy to play computer games 6 hours a day? I guess that makes me REALLY "lazy" considering my prayer level is only 50. Then again I don't really mind because I know how to differentiate work from hobbies.
  7. You obviously don't know... Unless you're super unlucky, you wont ever find a Wikipedia article that has been incorrectly edited for more than a couple minutes. I've tried adding false information with sources cited (credible sources, like my AP Biology textbook), and they ALWAYS get changed back to normal. Only idiot professors don't accept sources from Wikipedia because they think it's a horrible conglomeration of false information edited by little 14-year-olds with no lives. [/rant] Try changing a Wikipedia article (even something entirely random as a 3 paragraph article about a random asteroid orbiting Jupiter) with an appropriate source cited, and it'll get changed no doubt within an hour. If you change something popular (let's say something about a city or science related), your false edit will get changed in a matter of minutes. Wikipedia is perfectly credible, as long as you haven't been fed lies from teachers stating otherwise. Wikipedia is quite credible as far as information on the internet goes, but that doesn't mean that professors who don't accept it as a credible source are idiots. A study showed that the average scientific Wikipedia article has an average of 3 scientific errors which isn't much, but it shouldn't be used as a primary source of research. Contrary to your belief, teachers don't think that its full of false information edited by little 14-year olds with no lives. Instead, its common knowledge that many articles contain errors (albeit small ones). BTW, the "sources" that Wikipedia cites aren't always credible, actually they are often random websites that most people have never heard of. But i admit it is annoying if you quote wikipedia and people go "lol anyone can edit wikipedia thats not true"
  8. Thanks for the tip, but how do you know what the street prices are? I have a white beret and zamorak page, are their street prices the same as their GE price?
  9. Thanks!!!! i got a white beret second try!!!! ^^ And a black helm (h1) + a few purple sweets the first. Thats more than all 4 level 3 clues i've done combined yipee
  10. I have 42 agility, and i was wondering if it was worth getting a pirates hook. If so, how long would it take and when should i sell it? I have hardly any junk and would rather wait for the GE price to reach the street price, unless that will take forever. Also, when should i sell my herbs from MTK? I know that the extra experience weekend is coming up but i'm not sure when would be the best time to sell my items. Thanks

    Chatroulette

Basically you talk to strangers except through a webcam. Its quite fun^^ but be careful because sometimes you get really gross people... ew but otherwise its great. http://chatrt.com/
  12. My cousin goes to this school and she says that apparently you are allowed to turn the camera (which can be remotely activated) on if you think that its missing or stolen, and the guy took it home when he wasn't supposed to, so the school reported it missing and turned on the camera and saw him do something bad. The guy has a bad reputation so yeah...
  13. Since when did the bible say that you should kill someone that doesn't convert to your religion? o.O And btw murdering someone and executing someone isn't the same thing; but like someone else said before me, these laws weren't meant for our society, but people living in a desert years and years ago.
  14. Sorry guys from what i've seen so far in this thread, the people who don't want a fire cape compromise sound more whiny and immature than the people who do.
  15. Actually, i've been playing since 2004 (although i quit a few times but still) and a level 3 treasure trails took my THREE HOURS plus i DIED asdggkljlk. Then again that makes sense because everything takes me 3 times longer than everyone else for some reason. Like monkey madness took me 10hours, and getting 33-40 agility took me 5 hours at agility pyramid (although i was afking that), and Jungle Potion took me 4 hours. Yes, jungle potion
  16. Hey guys. I haven't played Runescape in ages, but i'm planning on buying one or maybe two months worth of membership. Mainly because I really want a blue h'ween mask (yeah I know its useless and everything but i've wanted it for since like forever plus its f2p yay) I have around 7 mil in cash atm, before I quit blue h'ween mask was only 13mil but now its 30something mil. I can't really play that much, around 24 hours a months or so. So... what should i do to earn money? The only armour I have is sara and full void melee which i never ended up using. My stats are.. 70/71 attack, strength, defence, 50 prayer, 55 range and magic, 59 mining, 55 woodcutting 87 combat so from what i can remember they are pretty(really) nooby. Apparently the gnome service mini game is great for money, is it worth it?? I've done The Grand Tree quest , Tree Gnome Village, one small favour, monkey madness, fishing contest and The Giant dwarf which are apparently useful. Is it even possible to get 25mil in 24 hours? or even 48 hours? Thanks
  17. Uhm, are you serious? Are you honestly trying to compare an online game with drugs? It's very simple, like Jaffy1 already explained.. it's a game, for entertainment. If you like it, it's probably worth it (else you wouldn't be playing), and if you don't like it, you probably won't play. This is not even a debate. It's all a matter of a simple opinion. I play this game, I like it. So yes, it IS worth it. And nobody is able to tell me otherwise. Other people's opinion do not apply for my case. Er what? Did you even fully read my post? For the last time, I do not think that if you find Runescape entertaining, and you don't play excessively, its a waste of time. My original post was a reply to Deathman, who seems to think that the fact that Zezima is really well known means that spending an unhealthy amount of time in front of the computer playing games is worth it. In other words, Runescape is worth it not because it is entertaining but because doing well in it makes you famous (o.O) Btw, just because you like something doesn't necessarily mean it is worth it. I thought that was pretty obvious. And also my example of drugs was merely to point out that just because something serves its purpose doesn't mean its worth it, which i tried to explain using an example which would make my point seem a bit more obvious in case you misunderstood me. No offence but i'm pretty sure that if you didn't spend so much time on Runescape you wouldn't be so adamant in your decision that it was worth spending your time clicking away at a rock or a tree. Yeah sure there's no harm if you don't play excessively, but unfortunately many people do.
  18. [/hide]May I just laugh at that link you posted there? That was probably written by another idiot, which obviously does not mean that the "general public" feels the same. You're an instigator, I hate instigators. -.- Besides, who would care enough to think of themselves remotely like Zezima, whoever that person is in real life. My uncle, who has introduced me to the game in 2004, has played in P2p for many years, in the mean time got married and has a fine social life. That is merely an example on my part that's close to home. He doesn't play die hard 24/7, and neither do most other players, let alone the adult players among us. Next to that, the question isn't "What does a random Tom, Bleep or Idiot think about Zezima?" but the question is whether or not RuneScape is worth it. The answer is simple: Its purpose is to entertain. It entertains. Conclusion: yes. I'm just wondering but did you know that i was replying to Deathmans post? Because you don't seem to have read what points i was addressing. I'm disagreeing with his point that Runescape is worth it because if you stick to it "great things will happen" and you can become famous like Zezima. I posted that link because i'm trying to show him that not everyone admires him so. Also, the rest of my " ramblings" were addressing his point where apparently Runescape is worth it because you become like Zezima, which is weird because there are far more constructive ways of spending your time and you can become Mozart or Einstein instead. Sure if you balance Runescape with your responsibilities its fine, if you enjoy it. Did i ever say otherwise? But if you play it to become the next Zezima, which is what Deathman wishes he did for the "instant fame and sucess", then thats a waste of time. And simply because Runescape serves its purpose doesn't mean thats it worth it. Look at drugs The answer is simple: Its purpose is to get high. It makes me high. Conclusion: yes Yeah i sort of know what you're trying to say but thats a weird way of conveying your message...

  20. You're right, you could have "shown dedication" and stuck with Runescape and have become the new Zezima- famous for showing a lack of self discipline and spending year after year on a repetitive computer game that requires zero skill. But i can apply your argument to almost everything. you could have practiced a musical instrument and become the new Mozart, you could have studied and become the new Einstein, you could have honed your painting skills and become the new Leonardo Da Vinci. And seriously, Zezima is not famous in a good way to the general public. I mean look at this; http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Zezima
  21. I agree, its especially worse considering that the people who play Runescape excessively usually don't even find it fun but are addicted and they can't stop playing because they need to achieve their next goal and once they get their shiny cape or partyhat and after a while they realize that its not actually that great so they get more and more and more. I honestly don't believe that Zezima enjoyed playing Runescape the whole time, but only did it for the "sense of achievement" he got which is stupid because there are so many other ways to get a "sense of achievement' by doing something more constructive. I am sure that Zezima has or will have regrets about having wasted so many years playing Runescape excessively, when its only supposed to be a hobby to do in your spare time.

    JaGEx >_<

On the point of RWT-ers: 1. Jagex can get sued by credit card holders whose stolen data have been utilized by criminals running RTW scams. 2. Jagex can get sued for not exploiting the situation (benefitting from RWT scamming criminals). 3. It is morally irresponsible to allow RWT scams continue. 4. RWT scams give cheating players unfair advantages. Did any of that cross your mind at all? Blizzard didn't get sued. They didn't get threatened by lawsuits. They haven't removed any free trade. They're also the industry leader. And everyone who plays requires a credit card. Furthermore, Runescape is the only, the ONLY, MMORPG to have made those drastic changes. Let that sink in. I'm pretty sure Blizzard is having lots of problems with RWT and credit card stuff, might be wrong though. Also, Blizzard is waaay more famous and rich than Jagex, with WOW being waay more popular ( and expensive...) than RS, not to mention Blizzard has lots of other games, while Jagex's only source of income at the time was RS ( was funorb released at that time? Can't remember...) If Blizzard did get sued ( which i'm pretty sure they are >.<), they obviously wouldn't suffer as much as Jagex, and don't care for the problem as much as Jagex. You can't compare Blizzard with Jagex >.< Actually, Runescape is more popular than WoW by far, there are almost 10x as much players, although WoW is more expensive. And although Jagex might not be as rich as Blizzard, they certainly aren't poor considering that Andrew Gower is worth 217million US dollars Runescape more popular than WOW? Now, either i am uninformed in the subject ( very problable >.<) or you are talking about the "150m accs created" Jagex likes to advertise, even though half is bots and abandoned accs, and the other half is full of f2p's who barely give any income, and all money they give is used to pay for the servers. Even if RS has more players, i'm pretty sure Blizzard gets more money from WoW than Jagex from RS, and since this is a monetary issue, money > amount of players in the subject. >.< Jagex isn't poor, but if the banks removed redit-card payment like they threatened to do, thus stopping 90% of existing memberships, they would loose money INSANELY fast, and even if they didn't go bankrupt, they would have BIG problems. I'm pretty sure RWT will eventually bring problems to WOW and they will have to do some anti-RWT updates some day... but as i said, RWT doesn't hit Blizzard as hard as it hits Jagex. You said that WoW was "by far" more popular than Runescape. Blizzard may earn more but it doesn't necessarily mean they are more popular- btw im measuring popularity in number of players, in which Runescape far outstrips WoW. And yes, i already know that there are lots of f2p players that don't generate much income- i even said so in my post. But Runescape is still more "popular" than WoW, it irritates me when people picture Jagex to be some kind of organisation that lives off the charity bucket or something. Sorry if i sound mean. I just don't get why runescape would get into so much trouble if other games like Maplestory and other mmog's don't seem to have any problems with RWT.
