  1. LOL. No one would watch it. In the slim possibility that this happened, it would be straight to dvd.
  2. If you can't afford to pay 5$ a month, you should be doing real work, not clicking on a rock because that doesn't count as work.
  3. There's a whole word outside of Runescape!!!! :o
  4. You can average 200k an hour at AZ's as well btw, and you don't need to go to your slayer master every task or put up with really bad tasks. But really, its all down to personal preferences.
  5. I was referring to the second part, about the time in front of the computer. I can assure you I have more hours on Runescape. They just don't goof off as much as me. I spent a week as a Falador guard, for example, walking aimlessly and training nothing. So basically, you think that your friends worked harder than you? Skillcapes do not show your intellectual superiority or physical strength. Runescape is a game, you play it for fun, unlike life, where you sometimes have to put up with bad times, you can just log off if you are bored in RS. Your friends may enjoy training more than you. That doesn't mean that they worked harder or did something that requires any sort of skill.
  6. Yeah.... and how many people want an achievement cape just for its stats? They maybe a obby cape in stats, but their requirements are very high. I mean, its pretty obvious that getting a skillcapes take a lot more time to get than an obby cape. New players won't sign up for a runescape account because skillcapes are f2p, and f2p players won't become members because they have skillcapes either. It would be a pointless update. Also, lots of people try to make it sound like skillcapes are something that they deserve. You do not have to "work" to get a skillcape, but in fact you just have to click a few pixels representing a rock or a tree many times. Only in Runescape can playing computer game earn you respect for having apparently worked hard. A skillcape is just another item. Not having skillcapes is not some kind of horrible punishment.
  7. I think its a waste of time. Sure there are sometimes when i get a lucky streak and its really fun and all but then i get a few really bad/annoying tasks. If its diversity you want, you can do it without slayer. For example experiments, rock crabs and yaks give similar exp rates, flesh crawler and ankous are good money, armoured zombies are great exp and OK money, Pest Control is fun and is OK exp and Green Dragons are great money. Slayer sucks for exp, is OK for drops and is diverse but seriously there are 24 skills, if i get bored with one i can just train something else.
  8. I have been playing 3 times as long as one of my friends, and they have double my experience or more. That throws that argument out the window. I still don't care if we get them, since my plan is not to get a 99 until I am close in all skills (except 99 hp which might happen when I go for 95 attack/strength/defence). But, for those of my friends who have valid excuses, I would definitely support the capes becoming F2P, even a version with reduced or no stats. I don't see how it throws that argument out of the window. Your friends might no life more than you, or maybe they enjoy skilling more. Or do you really think that your friends have got double exp because they "worked harder" than you? No. Runescape requires zero skill. Skillcapes are just another item consisting of a line of code and few pixels. They are not some kind of holy relic that people with 99 skills automatically deserve because they have worked so hard. No other skill requirement, whether for a quest or a item, comes even close to getting a skill all the way to 99. Skillcapes are far too high leveled. Skillcapes becoming f2p won't entice new players to play. Nor will they encourage f2pers to get p2p. Once again, i would love it if f2p's got a cool update like a new boss or a quest so that more of my friends would want to play. But most of the people that would be very happy about this update would be people that are going to stay f2p all their life.
  9. I've changed my mind. I don't think f2p needs skill capes. I don't mind f2p getting updates, i would love it if they had more fun stuff like boss monsters and ect. so that more of my friends would play. BUT if you play Runescape in f2p so long that you can get a 99skill, you will probably never become a member. F2P only really exists so that people will become addicted to RS and then get members. Skill capes would be a very high level update, and f2p doesn't really need any of them. The fact that f2p'ers have to "work hard" does not mean anything. Getting a 99 does not show that you have "worked hard", it shows how much time you have sat in front of the computer playing games more than other people, but you also get a fancy cape. People do not get skillcapes show they can show off how hard they worked. They get it because the cape is fancy. All this update will really do is give f2p a new (and very high leveled) item Such an update would inspire f2pers to get 99's. During the time they try to get this 99, they will not be feel that the f2p world lacks too much and they will be content. Only after they finally get the skillcape will they realise that f2p is pretty boring and small and they should get members. (Exceptions are people that will never become p2p because they think their achievements will be more impressive or something. But these people are never going to pay for members anyway.) However, if they didn't have skill capes they could have realised that f2p is pretty boring and small MUCH earlier on and get members faster. Skillcapes are too high leveled for an f2p update.
  10. So you want me to post a response to your thread in the correct forum? You made your suggestions in the debate thread. What suggestions?  them ones. Do you know what will happen now? He will call you an idiot, but otherwise ignore your post. Then he will try to make this thread die to "prevent flamewars". Thats what usually happens
  11. but there are different types of nerds. like computer nerds and anime nerds ect ect the list goes on forever
  12. Is Runescape very nerdy? A little nerdy? Not nerdy???
  13. I personally don't like slayer lol. There are some good tasks, but there are also really bad ones. Its exp is bad and is money is decent, although you can get better exp+money elsewhere. Armoured zombies, for example, are 100kexp plus 200kmoney, which i think is really really good
  14. My stats are 71attack, 71strength and 71 defence. Once I get full void and do a gazillion quests I will be able to fight armoured zombies (btw, I only need the hunting req. of Defender of Varrock, right?) My set up will be Full void helm (melee) Salve amulet (e) Void top Void bottom Abyssal whip Rune defender Dragon boots Void gloves Obby cape I have a pretty low defence. Before I start getting 99attack, I will train defence to 80through controlled first and use super defence. But even then, void has pretty low defence bonuses. Is it worthwhile getting 34summoning for a void spinner? (its 4 right now) I probably have to train it sooner or later, but having to buy all those spinner charm thingies sounds like a waste of time is it worth it? I will train by making spirit scorpion pouches. Also, is 68summoning for a bunyip worth it? It sounds like it will take WAY to long not to mention suck up a lot of my money which I need to buy piety one day (I only have enough money for chilvary atm)
  15. that happens to me all the time, esp. at moss giants
  16. Castelwars bracelets make you stronger against flag wielders. You only have to wear it until the game starts, then you can switch if you want. (Btw, it also raises the hp you restore from bandages^^)
  17. what do you mean "even if u get to jad you cant win with those stats?"I suggest he you 70 defence for the waves, but defence doesn't really help at actually fighting Jad. I mean, if he hits you you're probably dead anyway.
  18. If you are only going to use super attack, you may as well buy combat potions... cheaper than super attack and raises both attack and strength quite a lot, although not as much as a super set. They are really cost effective.
  19. Death to the Dorgeshuun was like the perfect quest.... Freminnik Isles was really fun as well. Monkey madness would be super fun too if it weren't so annoying
  20. Players can only hit 90something (not 99) with a AGS special if they have a castle wars brace and is attacking the flagholder. Jad on the other hand, can hit that much at every hit and its also got its own healers not to mention like 1000000000000000000henchmen you have to kill before you can fight him. So JAD
  21. 3 hours on weekends so 6 hours a week. On holidays (like now^^), i play an hour every day in the weekdays so thats 11hours
  22. I don't see how this update makes a difference. When i tried 26king for myself, i used coins, not an item plus item protect anyway. But i can't use brawlers now!!!!!! I've already lost 225k from using my melee ones but thats not that much. Whats annoying is that i can't train in the wilderness volcano anymore without risking 3 MILLION GP i mean since i can only earn 130k an hour 3 million gp is really quite alot for me. I mean, after losing the 76k i was risking a few times i thought that it wasn't really worth the risk but now its REALLY not worth the risk.....
  23. hallys dont work anymore. Get a poisoned dagger, stab them and then lure them to behind a dummy. Stand on the otherside of the dummy and wait for him to die. Thats your best chance^^ But they disappear so kill them off if they are hanging around too long. Bring a rune warhammer for crush, and a scimmy for slash on top of the dagger you should've already bought. Don't ignore their defences, its so much easier.
