Thats too harsh man @@ I'm in a manipulating clan although i can't be bothered buying items anymore, I just talk with friends and stuff. You can still go on "great adventures and stuff", it literally only takes 5 minutes max to go to the GE and place and order, two times a week. You could argue that "slaying dragons" is ruining the game for everyone else because you are making it more crowded, and that pvping is also ruining the game because you are profiting off other people losing items. How the heck am i a "greedy nerd because i'm in a merch clan???? Because i wanted something to do back when i was f2p and the game was getting boring? Is wanting some extra cash greedy/nerdy? Face it, clan manipulating isn't as "disgusting" as you say, stop taking everything so seriously.

OK. Why do people even care if someone has a "crappy cape?". How does having a runecrafting cape make you superior? ITS NOT HARD WORK- getting high skills doesn't require you to be physically fit, or mentally superior above anyone else. Its all about how much time you have on your hands. In fact people who have the time to get amazing stats usually spend more time playing a computer GAME because they have more FREE TIME meaning they have LESS WORK. You shouldn't be getting good skills simply because you want respect, because theres nothing to be respected about having high skills. Admired, maybe- but if its respect you want fight in a war or donate money for charity.

If the problem gets serious which i really really really doubt, i'm sure Jagex will be able to fix the problem. They can do almost anything to Runescape that they want.

So change the lighting detail then. I always put it on as bright as possible but it's still really dark in dungeons and stuff. Yeah i had the same problem too, especially at experiments. You just have to turn the light flickering or *something* like that on the display menu to either "low" or "off". It really helps, seriously- although I wish Jagex made it a bit brighter on its own anyway.

Yeah, a LOT of player interaction... More like scammers and botters. I think he means player interaction as in like people traded with each other more and stuff not whether there were bots or not. Although personally i found the player interaction to be really annoying lol

Off topic: Also some companies pay Google to make their websites show up in higher search results. Actually Google states that it is not affected by payment, meaning that they do not accept payment for moving a site higher. It actually is a credible source. Not always I agree with that but it can be very helpful Also, Wikipedia is free and non-profit. Most, if not all, of their money goes to maintaining the site. Actually, both of you are right and wrong. Google DOES accept ad payment, and those websites that show up at the SIDE, but the top of the page are those who pay Google. However, those on the MAIN page do not pay Google anything. Just to illustrate - or just go and search anything on Google and you'll see what I mean. 1. Website A l Website D 2. Website B l Website E 3. Website C l ... Website A, B and C are popular, and they don't pay Google any money to be at the top of the list. Website D and E may or may not be popular, but they pay Google money, so Google puts them at the top right hand corner (Ads section) I think wikipedia is as reliable as anything else on the internet (reliable enough), but it coming up on google alot doesn't mean anything. I read in a book once that part of the way google works is by making popular sites show up more often- wikipedia is popular, but that doesn't necessary mean it is accurate. Also, citations aren't always reliable and not every statement is backed up with a citation or a "insert citation here". A survery showed that in the average scientific article, wikipedia had 4 errors while Encyclopedia Britannica had 3. My point before was that Wikipedia is almost as good as anything else you will find but even so its not really 100% accurate. (But chances are, it is just as, or more accurate than whatever other source you happened to use, so just because "anyone can edit it" doesn't mean it's far less reliable than whatever source you are using)

I wasn't going to respond to the previous post, but since you felt like calling me an idiot, I have to say something. Honestly, I don't know who you think you are. Every single academic class I've taken over the last 3 years that required any kind of research paper begins on the first day with a warning not to cite wikipedia as a source, otherwise it's an automatic "F" for the paper. There have been several incidents of incredible information, and plagiarism posted on the site. A couple of years ago, their most prominent editor was exposed for being a fraud. Because there is controversy over the accuracy of information posted on wikipedia, it can't be considered credible to cite your information from there. Reading your comments that you follow up with, you don't even sound sure of how wikipedia works. How are you calling me an idiot then? You are going to try and shoot me down with what - your best guesses? It used to be that ANYBODY could edit the articles. Now it's restricted to registered users. They also have editors to check over the articles. It can be a good site to look at for personal knowledge, but shouldn't be the only place you look. I will concede that wikipedia is usually correct, but you should've taken the time to read what I had said instead of throwing insults. I said it isn't ALWAYS a reliable source. Sorry, but I'm going to have to say that what Jagex posts directly on the Runescape website is going to be a more credible source than wikipedia. Wikia/Wikipedia isn't always a reliable source. It even says on the front page, "The wiki...that anyone can edit!" Just backing what you said up with a credible source. Maybe not runescape wikia, but wikipedia is as reliable as anything else on the internet, probably more.

Thats tons lol... i only play 3 hours in the weekends, none in the weekdays although if i don't hang out with friends or something i have enough time to play 1 hour on Fridays so thats like 6-7 hours a week lol. How do you even have enough time in the day to play that much???

People have a choice to go to pvp worlds and risk their items. People that don't want to get directly affected by PVP (ie going to a pvp world and pking) don't have to, but manipulation clans affect anyone in the market for whatever items they are manipulating whether said people want to be directly affected or not. But no one chooses to die in a pvp world. If you put it that way, you could just choose not use the GE at all so you aren't directly affected.

I was in clan wars and before we even start this guy goes "gtfo (my name) you noob". When it starts, i notice he is 30 cb levels higher than me and has d claws, so i pray protect from melee and he does the same. (i still die in like 5 seconds anyway) He then goes "prayer nub grow some balls" lol what exactly am i supposed to be scared of? Being forced to re-enter the portal? He thinks hes so tough because hes a level 111 lol.

I think there should be a "coackroach queen" or something that has a massive amount of hp but is quite easy to kill. Because seriously, i wouldn't have quit Runescape at level 47 before if i knew that there were bosses! My friends wouldn't have quit either. Lol. Like 5 level 50's could kill it, but in like 20 minutes and 2 or 3 of them would die. But then f2ps will think its too easy and get p2p. Prayer should be disabled when fighting it. And it should have some kind of special attack that makes it difficult to solo. Rev's don't really count.

But at least he could have the experience of fighting Jad, which means that his second attempt will now be another first attempt. ARgh i'm so scared this will happen to me, when i switch to another tab sometimes the Runescape tab turns white and i have to refresh. bad luck!
