  1. Manipulating is no different from PVP! Seriously... could anyone care to tell me that difference and why clan manipulating is so much worse?
  2. Thanks everyone!!^^ I'm not sure i want to do armoured zombies because it looks like it will take way to long to get the requirements for Defender of Varrock
  3. What he said. From what i've heard, its only faster exp if you have a very high attack level because it misses alot- the necklace has negative attack bonuses
  4. No thanks- flesh crawlers give me at least 100k an hour- last week i even earned 300k, thanks to a lucky tooth key drop and several rannar herbs, not to mention they are great exp. Then again i'm p2p i don't know what it would be like in f2p
  5. My stats are 70 attack, 70 strength, 62 defence, 52 range, 46 prayer and 40 slayer. I want to do get a fire cape once i get 70 defence and 70 range but i need to ask a few questions *Is 55 slayer for Broad Bolts necessary for the waves? *Using bronze knives, what would be a good way to train range while gaining some profit along the way? I was thinking of moss giants until 65 range and then fire giants *I trained to 70 attack/strength at flesh crawlers, and they were 100k money and 27kexp per hour. Is there a better place or should i use slayer (which btw is really bad exp and money, at my level at least) *Once i get 70 defence, should i train controlled on whip? *I'm training farming which is only 9 at the moment. Would using guam seeds, cabbage seeds and marigold seeds in the port sarim and catherby allotments be a good way to train it atm? (using normal compost, without paying the farmer) I don't really know much about farming so tips would be great *How useful is Guthans at the fight caves? Because its really expensive for me and i will have to make it degrade fully before i can sell it again after i use it *I think i can pray switch well enough, but i'm worried about the beginning when you can't see Jad. Is there anything i can do? Like listen out for the retribution sound or something *When the healers come, should i kill them one at a time with long range+steel skin, and then shoot Jad to death once he's alone? Because i don't think 70 range is enough to kill Jad while he's being healed. *from 36 smithing, would cannonballs be a good way to get 55 smithing? Sorry for having so much questions! thanks
  6. The main reason my old main was only level 60 after 3 years was because of castle wars lol. True there weren't any godswords or dragon claws but i was still super good lol good times. I doubt i have made my entire team lose that much
  7. Yes, and none of them wreck the economy or make honest people trying to buy things cry. Yeah i agree that clan manipulating is annoying but people really have to start realizing that Runescape doesn't take any skill. People make clan manipulating out to be something only a stupid and lazy person would consider doing.
  8. So what if it requires no skill? I'm not in a manipulating clan but you guys sometimes go too far... of course some people will want money. But whats the difference from chopping yews to clan manipulating? Don't tell me you think chopping yews or fishing sharks takes intelligence. Yes, it might make some people a bit annoyed- but how does that differ from killing someone in bounty hunter, or mining a rock and forcing someone to change worlds, or taking up too much space at flesh crawlers? And i really doubt that a teen and a few of his friends would be able to buy out enough shares on his own. And the fact that you associate 13 year olds with stupidity makes you sound even worse.
  9. Runecrafting requires NO skill, just shear GREED Cooking requires NO skill, just shear GREED Woodcutting requires NO skill, just shear GREED Mining requires NO skill, just shear GREED
  10. Err lol no actually its winter here. And being outside with a friend doesn't automatically mean you aren't a nerd. And him having good stats doesn't change that either lol just wondering are you his friend or something? How did you get his stats? But on topic that looks like it would have taken a loooong time to make
  11. Nope 25%. The spec isn't very good though as it has a delay in between specials like the mace and doesn't have the bonus of poison like the dagger. You're much more likely to do more damage with 8 hits rather than 4. The only time I'd use a combat brace is if I was ranging where you couldn't use void. I can't give up the great bonuses of barrows gloves for a small convenience. I just use my slayer ring periodically. I don't see many people use the regen brace though. I always prefer it over barrows gloves when soloing rex (most pures use adamant gloves other it even though the brace is more useful). Not really an item as such, but little tricks such as timing on drinking potions or picking bones up in between hits are small things which can speed you up a lot on tasks which people don't do. The Bandos Godsword's special really is underrated, 10% extra strength (AGS is 25% I believe)? and a good special or two can help your whole team take down bosses a lot easier. Even in PVP I've seen a good special and constant hitting without misses for a many hits in a row. Lol why are you quoting me, i didn't say that. Anyway, what i meant was that dragon longsword is good for pvp
  12. I got up to level 57 mining, until realising that at my pace, it would take 5 months to get 85 mining so i kinda gave up, especially once i became a member and there were better ways to earn money- like melee!!
  13. Grr somebody at flesh crawlers said i was fail because my strength level was only 9 above my defence @@
  14. lol i tried that once but my target killed me somehow and i lost my d scim!! lol anyway i think you are overreating lol maybe they don't have 46 prayer or they don't feel like doing that trick
  15. Oh yeah and DRAGON LONGSWORD awesome spec and better than scimmy for pvp situtations like bounty hunter and duel arena
  16. Wooden shield!! Really good for low level mages because it has no negative bonuses!!! Cakes!! They are only 83 hp!! Disposable but useful pineapple pizzas for more dangerous situations Dragon gauntlets!! They are cheap!! They have the best defence of any other gloves in the game BY FAR, have a decent strength bonus and are easy to get Rune defender!! I don't see them enough- they are sooo useful why would you want a DFS or obby shield if you can get a FREE rune defender? (the cyclopes are good training too) Overrated items--- Godswords- they are so expensive but there are better weapons for all occasions DFS- use a rune defender!! Sharks- Maaaybe for pvp but seriously monkfish are fine and even better for training CAKES!! (or chocolate cakes or pinaepple pizzas) They are an overrated item to fish as well Woodcutting (not an item) everyone in f2p thinks its so great but it can only earn 50k an hour with a rune axe, 80k if you have 99 wc and thats pretty useless unless you like to relax and stuff but so much people think its so great- even mining CLAY at level 20 mining gives you more profit... seriously or if you really want to afk just mine rune essence, even the normal kind will earn more than 50k, while at just 40 mining pure essence earns 140k/hr
  17. 6 hours, not 8 hours. Maybe excluding 1 day a week or something. NO ONE SHOULD BE PLAYING OVER 6 HOURS A DAY thats horrible
  18. MY BAD SORRY!!!! I DIDN'T REALISE THAT THIS TOPIC WAS MADE BACK IN 2006 sorry!! ignore!! i thought it was some kind of joke... i mean sailing... lol
  19. are you guys serious...?
  20. I had 40 range with a range pot- i killed him with 87 mith arrows and one dose of a prayer pot lol but anyway, i've seen heaps of vids of pures doing monkey madness- use a cannon or run away to where he cant kill you and when hes at low hp run in and dds spec him. The archers are quite easy as well if you know what you are doing. Just run to the north or south i forgot as soon as you get out of the jail and you should be fine... although it might take more than one try
  21. I've played since 2004 and nooo the community was WORSE at least now there aren't any scammers (well hardly any at any rate) And imo Runescape classic sucked, people walked too slowly and although Runescapes graphics aren't the best at least they characters don't look like bits of clay stuck together. I don't care if the community was good if the game was boooriiingg
  22. Its probably not the real Runescape just like another game called "runescape" thats really different like maplestory ds
  23. Lol, Runescape doesn't require any sort of mental or physical labor/skills so whats wrong with having low skills? High levels are high levels because they play Runescape more. BTW Runescape is a GAME its something you do in your spare time and so if you are "good" at it, chances are you actually do less work, and i mean actual work not deciding to train cooking or something

I have a HUGE respect for anyone with even a SINGLE PIECE of gold-black cwars armor. You know why? because you need to have spent at the very least 483 HOURS to gain enough tickets for the FULL armor, that's not counting all the times you LOSE. In reality, it's more like 900 HOURS. 900 hours, that's 37 DAYS of total gameplay, enough time to earn well over 50,000,000exp in most skills. freaking insane. and cwars actually requires some degree of concentration and stratedgy, not mindless clicking. Yeah but even so, its mainly your team that will decide whether you get tickets or not, the next most important thing would be your levels which would require "mindless clicking" and THEN your strategy/concentration. Even if you were a level 3 that did nothing, you still have a decent chance of winning- all you need is TIME. High levels (and i mean ultra high- like 5 99's high) get that way because they put more time into the game. Why is this regarded as hard work when in reality it is usually because these people have way to much spare time/ too lazy to work?
