It seems that these new, advanced, or interactive ads cause me to lag.

 

 

 

Now I can't seem to get this Star Trek ad from going away. It wont change even if i refresh the page a lot.

What browser are you using? Firefox has a service called AdBlock which may be able to aid you.

I agree, adhering to the rules is a large priority. However, blocking one ad to play comfortably is different than blocking all of them and far better than abstaining from playing a seemingly unplayable game.

I don't think Jagex monitors who has the ads blocked or not, you won't be banned for blocking de ads. I've been doing it for years and yet I never got a black mark for it.

Adblock Plus does not make the ads go away, it merely blocks their source website, so technically you aren't breaking the rules.
