Tesset
As of today, I have all the stats I need to complete all of the quests. The only problem is that I don't have any equipment. I have full dharock's, minus the helm because I died with it not to long ago, and that's all. Here are my stats: 73 attack 75 strength 91 range 81 defense 77 magic 70 prayer 70 summoning 85 hitpoints I have 4.3m in my bank to spend. I don't really care about saving it, as I can make money fairly easily and can always sell back things. Skeptical
I agree with above: if you don't plan on buying the helm, sell 'hocks, but rune and some ranged, make sure you have a whip, get boots of lightness and spotted cape. Kiriyama
Essentially, the "best" gear, that I have found would be: Rune Armour. Whip. Dragon Boots. Rune Defender. Glory. Fire Cape/99 Cape/Obsidian Cape Black Dragonhide (Body and Chaps) And, assuming you can get them, the best RFD Gloves. Of course, you can, as Cooldog said, use a Spotted Cape (assuming the Hunter level is reached) and Boots of Lightness. However, I found that they didn't make much of a difference to me. Nomrombom
Do all the quests that don't require combat. Then find out what you need for the ones that do require it, and buy it to perform the combat. PM me for fitocracy invite
Tesset
Ugg, people keep misinterpreting the question. I have money, levels, and quests to use most every piece of equipment. I just sold all my gear because, frankly, I was tired of combat. Now I want to finish my last 50 or so quest points, and I need some gear to do so. So I just wanted to know what gear I should get that would sell back easily once I'm done. Anyway, I got what Sworddude198 said, except for the dragon boots, which I always die with. Don't know why. I also got some more ranging gear because that's a little stronger for me. So I should be good now. Thanks. (If I came out annoyed/ungrateful there, I'm not.) Kiriyama
Seems like bad luck with the Dragon Boots. Basically most of the gear I suggested sells back easily, except the Rune Legs (take a long time the last I tried, don't know why, but they sell within a day, normally). I'll make the suggestion for Rune Boots as a replacement, +2 to str and still provide some defence. Also, for quests, since I left this out, I find the most effective to be a Runite Crossbow and Mithril Bolts at least (Emerald Enchanted are better, without going into overkill). Should have suggested this before, as the Emerald (e) bolts hit fairly hard, and have a chance to poison. When I played, I pretty much used this alone for harder monsters such as Black Dragons and Metal Dragons (otherwise it was Diamond (e) which killed fairly quickly, but were simply too expensive for continual use, basically, buy a stack of 1000, and they'll last a while with the Accumulator). Of course, thinking about it now, I can also reccomend Verac's skirt. Good for use while Range tanking, and it has the prayer bonus, sorry I forgot to mention it, don't know why I left it out, I put it to plenty of use when I did use it. (I basically only switched to Rune legs because I mostly Slayed with a Bunyip and found Verac's Skirt to be overkill then). Oh, and I pretty much take this for granted, but you did remember to buy a DDS, didn't you? Darn useful weapon for its special, though I guess it bordered on the overpowered side a little, but damn, its good for tearing through quest monsters and poisoning them (I could knock off a decent portion of their health while using Piety, and I reccomend pure sets for this route (Super Str and Super Attack)) Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
