RayOxide
No, but it costs a heap less. And apparently being efficient is: Doing the fastest way possible and making the money back in the time saved. What if people cant stand making money back the 'fast' ways and would rather do it the mediocre way? I dont need a siggy no moar.
Sir_Kurity
Go with fletch. You don't lose as much, and the cape looks cooler. Plus, for some reason its more respectable than cooking. O.O
RayOxide
But they both suck and have no reason for 99. Noone likes those skills. I dont need a siggy no moar.
Mercifull
They both suck and the only reason for getting 99 cooking is that you don't burn as much food as before. 99 fletching is pointless. For the record I fished monkfish to 99 fishing and then cooked them until I got 99 cooking and then sold all the raw fish I had left over and most of the cooked stuff for a nice profit. I found that I could catch about 3 monkfish in the same time as I could catch 1 shark (pre summoning). 3 monks (347)gp = 360 fish exp / 450 cook exp 1 shark (910gp) = 110 fish exp / 210 cook exp Bit of a no brainer for me. Sir_Kurity
You burn less fish at 99 cooking, thats useless. You fletch better bows at 99 fletch, thats useful, plus you can actually make profit. O.O
RayOxide
You might be able to buy mass raw food but not mass cooked food. Whose in for being owned now? I dont need a siggy no moar.
Kinosjourney
I was just wondering which of these skills is better because each has its own pro's and con's. Cooking: Pro's: Cape looks cool untrimmed easy to come up with a good outfit for the cape Con's: costs alot of money with no money made back(pure loss) Fletching; Pro's: Cape is awsome looking untrimmed or trimmed you make money from 70 to 99 Con's: takes longer than cooking to get 99 You have gotten it wrong, cooking is no pure loss, you sell the fish you cook and its fast. I got 73-83 cooking in 2-3 days cooking lobsters to 81 and then swordfish to 83. It will cost me 1.1-1.2M to 90 cooking and 94-99 will be more expensive if you choose to go sharks, monks is cheaper but takes a bit longer. Fletching cape (i admit it) looks ALOT better, green is even my favorite color but fletching is more expensive and takes more time. Go with cooking if you dont afford 99 fletch, if you afford 99 fletch then get it.
RayOxide
Fletching profits at 75~ barely :P I dont need a siggy no moar.

RayOxide
Well obviously you do care since you asked us. And everyone who says they dont care really obviously do care. Do one thing before you get 99 fletching. Agree to a contract you wont brag about it if you go F2P, and you wont say "Wheres your skillcape" to people who say its a nooby one I dont need a siggy no moar. skylor12344
i dont EVER plan on going back to f2p ever unless i quit playing plus i meant it that i dont give a dang what their opinions are because of what they said plus no matter how you look at it a 99 is a freaking 99 and everyone of them takes time to get no matter if its buyable or not. Mercifull
For the record, an untrimmed fishing cape will get you more respect than cooking or fletching combined. Kinda seems a bit foolish to me to get cooking before fishing. With the fish I cought to 99 I was able to get both 99 cooking and fletching. RoxSabre
To all the people who say they are nooby capes...they are just opinions. I'd say go with fletching. It's a pretty manageable skill in my opinion and you only need to invest at the most 2 mil into it. Once you hit yew longbows you make a profit. To the people who haven't even gone through the trouble of getting 99 Fletch or Cook...please don't post your childish opinions for it. A 99 still takes effort to get. That's what you have to take into consideration too. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Mercifull
Thieving is on par with firemaking. It's a really fast skill to get to 99 but requires attention and dedication. Thats why people rank it higher than cooking or fletching. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape.
