BH Targets hiding in multi

My beef is this: When I get a target, often they are hiding out near FoG with a few/hoard of mates. This limits my options severely when it comes to collecting on the vast amounts of drop potential I have gained.

 

 

 

My only options are:

 

 

 

I go see him, and lose all my gear, and my chance of collecting on my dp.

 

 

 

I ignore this target, and carry on fighting 1v1 in edge. If I stay aorund edge, I can fight, and kill many people but after about 30 minutes, my time is up in a safe spot, and I lose my target :(

 

 

 

I can not gather up enough people's to go and meet his bunch - I have not many people in the friends list around my cb level.

 

 

 

I can go wait in a 1v1 hotspot, and hope they come to me - but that is a waste of time, and inevitably a 1 itemer comes along and hits me, I use some food and I'm not in the best shape to take on my target 1v1 without restocking. If I restock, I lose target!

 

 

 

Surely it should be the guy hugging his mates in multi should be penalised, not me?

I think once you start fighting your target, everyone else should be knocked out of combat with you. Your target should supersede and negate others. Would stop garbage like this.

 

 

 

I've always said pvp would be great in runescape if it wasn't for so many of the pvp'ers being Edgeville pkers who run, people who group then pile because they can't stand a fair fight, and they all say "gf noob" no matter how many dozens of people just piled on one person.

I agree about others need to be locked out of combat for a certain period of time. Tag teams are rampant when you get a target, and if timed right, double hits are very easy.

 

 

 

Don't get me wrong, I am not against teams/clans - just that if you are pling in a clan, you should be penalised if you do not go after your target. I.e., "You have been been hiding in muliti for too long, your target has been reset". If they made that change, I would be a lot happier. At least then I could carry on happily pking with the knowledge that I do not get penalised for pking 1v1.

I had this problem one day on my pure. I hunted my target for GOD DAMN 40 MINUTES or so because he was sitting in a multi-combat zone with a few hybrids. He even tried to lure me there. <.<

 

But then he was stupid enough to try to escape and I killed him next to the Wilderness Ditch. Bad for him. :lol:

 

 

 

In my opinion, targets should be immediatly thrown out of multicombat zones, or, like suggested, them staying in multicombat would also result in them losing target.

 

 

 

Also, it's really annoying when you are fighting your target, target starts to run and some idiot attacks you thinking it's funny. This is not the way BH should work, the fact that you are attacking your target should prioritize over others even if your opponent is not attacking you.

Maybe some people like multi more than single? What hapens to clans that want to war? Are they 'hiding' in single? Maybe they don't want targets.

 

I'd like more pvp worlds so that clans can war without randomers with targets come in and attack them.

More PvP worlds would be great for clans. All clans are hoping that this occurs.

 

 

 

I am not against clans at all, I am against the fact that I get penalised for getting a target who is in a large group camping at gdz/FoG.

They should simply (I have no idea if it's simple to program though) deactivate multi-combat once you and your target start fighting each other. There may still be a problem of your target luring you to a trap with his team though, but he will not get the target kill since he didn't touch you.

why does everyone always seem to forget the wilderness is meant to be dangerous, and that having a group in multi is a perfectly reasonable tactic?

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
