May 25, 200917 yr Hi. Im killin black dragons for slayer task and decided to range em. So, I put on my full void + fury + range pot ( I have 89 range). Then this guys shows em with black d hide/ ranging gear and he HITS MORE OFTEN THEN ME! hes only lv 92 range. Is normal range gear better? Or do I just suck. -.-
May 25, 200917 yr Author He couldve potted and use range prayer to drive you out of there It was only me and him. Besides I wouldn't leave anyways. IS normal range gear better then void? ( I hit constant 0s with void + pot ) -.- -.-

May 25, 200917 yr he probably had a higher range plus something i've figured out with black dragons is that if i have a higher range bonus for some reason i seem to hit more often although not always higher

But i think what Kent is saying is that the armour itself had lower bonuses than black d'hide, the only reason to wear it is for the set effect Bear in mind you are 3 levels lower than him, so that will work against you a bit. He might've been praying/potting more regulary than you. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

May 25, 200917 yr I pretty much only use void range, I especially like it at green drags. I think you just got unlucky

May 25, 200917 yr On high defence monsters, the greater accuracy of normal ranging armour helps you get past the '0 barrier' and actually hit. Whether black dragon's defence warrents that I don't know. quit
