deadngone Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Hi. Im killin black dragons for slayer task and decided to range em. So, I put on my full void + fury + range pot ( I have 89 range). Then this guys shows em with black d hide/ ranging gear and he HITS MORE OFTEN THEN ME! hes only lv 92 range. Is normal range gear better? But i think what Kent is saying is that the armour itself had lower bonuses than black d'hide, the only reason to wear it is for the set effect Bear in mind you are 3 levels lower than him, so that will work against you a bit. mister_moocky Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 On high defence monsters, the greater accuracy of normal ranging armour helps you get past the '0 barrier' and actually hit.
