This. However you'll want to note that if you buy the rune gauntlets or the rune berserker shield off the Grand Exchange, you'll want to get those recharged by Reggie in the Fist of Guthix. (for training I recommend using a regular rune kite shield)

Yeah, the Regular Rune Kiteshield should be used if you do not like F.O.G.

 

 

 

Though the tokens to recharge only take a few wins (normaly very easy at a decent level.)

 

 

 

Though honestly, I feel it is better getting the shield/gauntlets through F.O.G. its fairly easy if you know how to play, and can be done in a day or two.

But it varies for everyone. Ranging against a mage you want green d'hide. Ranging against a melee or another range you want rune. Melee you want rune. Mage... well, it doesn't really matter.

The first reply has the correct answer. Except Corrupt dragon. But that takes a while to get and is of more use by selling it and skilling with the money. Other than that, I suggest getting the berserker shield unless you HATE FoG. It's fairly easy to get it in a couple hours of playing time, or if you are somewhat skilled (unlike me :) ) then probably about an hour or less. That is, if you get the shield completely through tokens and don't buy it. Less than 45 minutes if you buy the shield on GE first.

blessed rune armour has ame stats as normal rune so dont buy it unsell u got lots of spare money adnhe only needs armor for combat...

 

 

 

get full rune and berseker shield+rune gloves, it doesnt take long to get both in FOG and they dont cost that much either if u buy it

The minor bonuses of the rune berserker shield over a rune kite shield are not worth the time getting the tokens to recharge it.
